Korg japan have released a 1.0.2 software for the Karma. Go here for download.

I have been working on a starters guide to simple sounddesign. The guide is still incomplete, but anyone interested can have a look here.

New os for triton keyboard!

Version 2.1.0 is out. Go to os page for download. The 2 new features: wav/aiff sample export and reading loops from wav files. What does this mean for the highly anticipated 3.0? Is it delayed?

New os for the triton rack!

version 1.1.0 is released. Go to the os-page, or use this direct link for pc version. Seems that this update concerns the exb-mLan expansion, and global mode.

New soundset from kid nepro

Kid nepro yesterday released their 7th program disk for the triton. This time, it is a moss-only set that concentrates on vintage synth and movie score sounds.

Latebreaking news: Z1-to-moss converter available!

The MOSSquito will accept Z1-format programs, and save them in a format suitable for moss-equipped tritons. You will need a Java runtime enviroment in addition to the files.

Korg France have put demos of all pcm cards on their site. link: triton exb demos

New Triton spinoff - the Karma

NNw: Korg japan have put a realaudio demo of the karma at their site. Pay them a visit, or click here to hear the file.

Korg have released a triton spin-off, the Karma. Using the same sound generator, expandable with the same pcm and moss boards, but in a red-metallic inexpensive board! more info.It seems to include some realtime note-generation technology ala arpeggiators and home keyboards, but more powerfull.

New exb-boards coming?

A pcm06 board is reportedly on its way, containing orchestral samples. Uncomfirmed rumors claim that it will be a dual 32mb board, occupuying both exb slots.

Tired of hooking up external hds or zip drives?

A german company has released an internal ide hd for use with the triton! Related: the internal zip-drive project
