So don't miss the the birthday party (60 years!!) of Hilde Handegard and Wibeke Nordhøy at SKURET on Fosenkaia Saturday 23 of AUG. 2003:
These are the participants for time being, which are all kinds of people with different backgrounds and ages:
We have invited you to a SPANISH EVENING and a "KURVFEST" (where everybody brings their own food and share with eachother - a buffét). I have to remind you that you are NOT allowed to bring your own alcohol, but they are serving you wine (bottles and glasses), beer, alcopop and soft drinks. Coffee and tee are our treat, and it is possible to buy "nightfood" (a delicious fish soup) later in the evening.
You can bring your FOOD in the boat or deliver it earlier the same day (from 12 o'clock and later). It is also possible to bring cold (we can store some food in the fridge) and hot (we can reheat food in a oven and in a kettle) food, and you can of course also bring a cake. Our dear Finn Arne has made a page for us where you can write in what you want to bring of food to the party (only in Norwegian) - for inspiration and help for eachother, so that we will have a varied and exiting buffét. Just enter the following page and see with you one eyes what the others will bring and register what you want to bring yourself (it is possible to change this as many times as you want): Food Page
The party will begin at 18 o'clock. There will be different kinds of entertainment and activities during the evening. Don't miss the fun! If some of you are eager to contribute with something more personal entertainment, feel free to do so during dinner.
You get a free ride by the "Fløttmainn" (the man who takes you over by a rowboat) from Ravnkloa by showing him the invitation you received by mail. The bar closes at 02.00 and everybody will have to leave Skuret 02.30 the latest... nachspiel?
