Bits and pieces
Princes I have known
Liriel has for some reason not known to herself worked for a great many
differend Princes. Without being a lilim. Maybe it's a plot by
Lucifer, maybe it's just a fluke in the time-space continuum. Regardless,
this is a list of the princes I know she's worked for so far. There are
others, but those will get ad-libbed in if ever needed (Read: If the
GM wants something, the GM gets something.). Whenever she's been
reassigned, she's lost the old attunement and any extras.
- Andrealphus: From 'just after' (in that vague, celestial
sense) the Fall, to ca the time Lilith frees the Horde.
- Malphas: The next one out after Andre.
- Gebbeleth
- Belial: Liriel did her last serious 'climb for power'-stunt
with him. Was quite powerful, got big mission in Ur (stop Destiny's plan
and work with the local Fire-god Nergal), but fouled up due to jealousy-fit
involving Shehariah and Giorgiel (a balseraph of the War). Force
stripping and centuries of torture followed. (This was ca. 2100 BC.)
- Baal: She got transferred to Baal after Belial had spent his
wrath. (There was a big, fiery, satisfying *BOOM* in that foul-up
after all..) Worked as a spy and scout. Mostly in the Roman empire.
- Mammon
- Lilith: ca 1100 AD - ?? AD.
- Valefor: ?? AD - 1680 AD.
- Kronos: 1680 - 1910.
- Nybbas: 1910 - present.
Note: Liriel has never worked for the Game. Probably to
Asmodeus' great annoyance. (All the other Princes get to play with the
chew toy! Why ain't I gettin' any?!)
Resonance stuff
- Honour: Liriel has a code of honour that your could bounce
rocks off of. If she makes an agreement, she'll keep it. There are things
she will not do, because she deems it beneath her or just plain Wrong.
She's loyal to those who have earned it. Not many of those, though...
- Best the last week: Taking immedeate to rescue an employee who
was getting in over her head, even though it could mean facing someone she
really didn't want to face. (Plus home-defense and dignity from the
below list.)
- Worst last week: Sending a youngster to interview a Very
Dangerous subject she herself was too afraid to handle. (PLus
transformation and betrayal from list below.)
- 3 best last year:
- Set aside her job to help defend her home during a
recent crisis.
- Bore the disgrace of public abuse with dignity,
and still does.
- Stuck to her word even when it put her safety at
risk.
- 3 worst last year:
- Working for < STATIC >. (Nybbas, the
sleazeball.)
- Transformed into an alien mockery of herself, while
under InfluenceFUZZZZZ.
- Betraying her home and someone very dear to her.
< Hell/Lucifer. >
- Most honorable deed ever: Remaining loyal to < STATIC > whatver
happened. (Lucifer of course.) [Yep, this is contradictory to
the above betrayal.]
- Least honorable deed ever: Feeding living, human babies to
the maw of the fire god Nergal back in the days of Sumer (Ur). [Note: This
isn't historically sound, but it'll stay for now.
Sumerian Gods]
- Utmost potential: Becoming a truly great, shining
Wordbound.
- Lowest pit: Ask Lucifer what his plans are, because I
don't know. Yves might. Kronos might. I - do not.
-
Emotions: Extreme CDs might notice that she loves someone
(Shehariah/Shemariah and < STATIC >) deep down. Liriel herself is in a
deep, 25.000 year old denial on that one. And I do mean DEEP. Also
loyalty to < STATIC >. Fed-upness at the War, jadedness, and currently a
strong sense of anger and humiliaton that is being held in tight,
disciplined check. (It'll flare if her wings get attention.)
-
Relations:
- Corporeal(Role)
- High opinion of herself. Has style, intelligence,
experience, la-dee-dah..
- Charming, good at her job, snobbish, hoity-toity.
- Courtney Rhys-Jones, Courtney. Comes from upper
middle-class in Tonbridge, Kent UK. Studied in Cambridge.
Lives and works in London. Hobbies: Fitness, travelling,
gossiping, rugged & rough beefcakes. Job: Journalist in
The Sun (tabloid newspaper).
- , 5., 6. Relationships: Gary the hacker (assistant
and internet research guru, valuable), Brian the Editor
(bastard), Amy the Desk manager (bitch but useful), other
newspaper staff (neutral/slight distaste -- she's too
good for such a tabloid really). Jerry the Bouncer (bed
partner, useful), Nicholas Carmichael, a freelance
photographer/journalist, who does a lot of covering armed
conflicts and such. [Aw hell, I'll come up with the rest if
it's ever needed!]
- Ethereal: Liriel has no time for Ethereals/doesn't care.
- Celestial: [Aw just shoot me and be done with it?!] Origins:
Cathedral of Light, Heaven. Way back in the mist of time. Current 'home' -
Babylon, Shangri-La. Has moved around a lot. Hobbies: Djinn boytoys,
having fun, uncovering stories and presenting them. Interests: Staying
alive and unnoticed (unmolested). Hates: Belialites, with a passion.
Important people: Shehariah (VERY IMPORTANT partner, djinn, been together
since before the Fall), several hated < STATICS > (Princes and a couple of
other bigwigs in Hell), one or two admired/respected < STATICS > (Baal) ,
one very close, tight binding to < STATIC > (Lucifer). The
reliever assistant Salva is a recent addition to the important people, and
Liriel cares more deeply about her than she's admitted to herself. Kind of
a motherly relationship there. [After the Eli-Elly scene] Elly is turning
out to becomde important too, as an employee. Liriel feels some
responsibility for her, and would even face PO'ed AAs to pull Elly's fat
out of any fires. Fou-Lu is a recent addition in a very odd
corner of the loathing sector. Currently loathes Nybbas and most of the
Media organization, Rex very much included. Teraphim too (but at least he
is useful). Liriel is a die-hard loyal when it comes to Shangri-La, both
because she genuinely believes it is a good idea, and because there's
nowhere left for her to run. A Malakite of War, named Nicholas, has been
an important contact for news stories/information for the last few hundred
years.
