Logfile from Brass&Steel. Zach knocks on the door marked 'Delia Fell, Psychologist '. A woman shouts from nearby, "Come in." You enter a small office. Psychologist's Office A well appointed office: oak bookshelves behind an antique desk; a long brown leather couch and a comfortable recliner in dark wool. The floor is covered in a persian rug, woven in intricate designs; the only decoration is a framed copy of her degree. No pictures clutter the desk; there is only a blotter, some pens, and a few small, leather-bound notebooks. Zach sticks his head inside and smiles to Delia. "Hello there. Do you have a moment or two to spare, ma'am?" His manners seem to be beck to the more formal, now that he isn't frantic and panicking. Delia smiles at him. "Of course, Zach; how are you?" Zach arranges for the rest of his body fo follow his head through the door, and closes it behind him. He nods gratefully to her. "I am well for the most part, ma'am," he states as he takes a seat. "I would like to thank you again for coming to the rescue so quicky the other night." Delia says, "It is no trouble; I'm glad I could help her. I just hope it lasts." Zach chews his lip and frowns slightly. "Me too. I am worried about her, but.. You know, I think she just might be able to work through this and lay some old ghosts to rest now. She told me she'd been to see you, and that she would continue doing that. I have to admit I like that idea - you're better at this, way better than I am..." Delia says, "I am trying to help her. It is hard; she loved a man who was evil, and she does not care." Zach sighs and shifts in his chair. "She loves him still, and she does care about his evil. That's what makes her all that more vulnerable. She feels such pity for the Fallen and the Hellborn." He clanches his fist reflexivly. "I should have taken him out long time ago, in stead of waste time trying to get through to him." Delia says, "It is never wasted effort, trying to help someone in such a way." "It is when those I'm supposed to protect get hurt because of my hesitation!" he states flatly, then adds in shame, "And my utter lack of empathy and intelligence when I do go through with the job." Delia says, "It was, I must admit, a little thoughtless, but you cannot be expected to remember all of these things about other people." "I admit that the intensity of her reaction caught me off guard, but... I understand her pain and accept my responsibility. Now..." He stands up straight. "I would ask of you to lay your Judgement upon me, Power. I will accept any punishment you see fit to issue." Delia looks at him, taken off guard; she laughs, faintly. "I can't say that anyone has asked such a thing of me, before." Zach is a malakite after all and even those of Creation have certain hang-ups about honor and the restoration of it. At least this one seems to have it. He clears his throat and squares his shoulders. "It is indeed the first time I have freely asked for the Judgement of the Inquisition. I would have asked my superiors, but I have no means of reporting these days. So I come to you instead.." Delia says, "I think justice, in this case, is best served by helping your friend recover from her pain, as best you can." Zach bows slightly to her. "Thank you, Power. This I have already started, as I could never abandon her. Never." There is a finality to that 'never' that hints of a very deep commitment indeed. Delia says, "Then all is well." Zach relaxes slightly and smiles gratefully and sincerely to her. "I won't take up more of your time now, ma'am. Thank you again, and I hope I'll see you soon enough. Walk in balance, Delia Fell." Delia says, "Be well, Zach; and if there is anything I can help with, please, let me know." Zach nods and turns to leave. "So long!" He exits her office quietly. Zach says, "Thanks for the scene! :) I envision Delias report to the Boss: "Today I had the most unusual encounter with one of the local Creationers. It all began with..." ;P" Delia laughs. Zach | Delia: "...as he is of Creation and serves the Wind, this all clearly indicates that he is Up To Something. Recomment that a Triad investigates further." :)
