Logfile from Brass&Steel. You enter Bo Ling's. Bo Ling's Chinese Restaurant An elegant, upscale Chinese restaurant. Red and black and gold laquered designs hang every few feet on wall the color of a dark cream, alternating between the stereotypical dragons and other symbols such as a golden buddha holding a sack of gold and smiling beatifically. The low lighting lends a mood of intimacy, of thoughts whispered in agreement, of business dealings and romantic liaisons. There is always the scent of fresh-cooked food, and the rattle of trays and plates, and the low lull of conversation. Even when closed for business, Bo Ling's often serves as an informal gathering place for local upper-middle-class and upper-class Chinese families, who come for tea and conversation, for alliances and dalliances. Once lunch time begins, and sustaining all the way through closing, those families form a knot of Asians near the back of the restuarant, beyond which, through beaded curtains, even more of them can be seen in the restaurant's semi-private and private dining areas. Cosmo smiles over at Harriet. And the waiter arrives with the food ordered earlier. The three of them are at a table, speaking quietly. Roger looks up happily at the food. "Ah, great! Lunch." Harriet oohs as the wonderful scents of her entree fill her nose. "This looks lovely, you know?" She beams at them both, and the waiter, too. Roger will need to go soon." Harriet awws and hugs. Cosmo awwws. Zach enters the restaurant casually, looking around to see if he recognizes anyone there. He notices familiar faces, and after a whispered conversation, a water comes over to Cosmo's table. "There's a gentleman by the enterance enquiring for you, sir. Should I show him to your table?" he asks quietly and politely. Zach sniffles. Roger looks down and curses as his beeper goes off "Damn, I'm sorry, I have to run guys. Roger waves "See ya! Harriet sighs sadly, and smiles at Roger. "Work calls, huh? Well, it was good to see you again, you know? Be safe." She stands to give him a hug before he runs off. Cosmo is about to take a bite of his spicey chicken dish. Then the waiter arrives. He looks over his shoulder. "If it's a fellow in leather pants, yes. But tell him he's buying." He frowns at Roger's announcement. "At least take the food with you, Roger. You need to eat. And I'll be in touch." Harriet chuckles at Cosmo. "Now, that's not nice, you know?" She turns, still standing, to look around at Zach, and give a little wave. The waiter returns to the enleathered man and shows him to Cosmo's and Harriet's table. Zach waves a hi-and-bye to Roger as the copper zips out and away. Coming up to the table he smiles to them both. "Hey there guys, how are you today? Harriet, you're looking good as always!" Harriet is a woman in her early twenties. She's below average in height, and thin and pale, as if she doesn't get out much. She has short-cropped, unruly, dark brown hair, and green eyes. Her round, open face seems as if it's used to doing a lot of smiling. A pair of gold-rimmed glasses perch--slightly askew--on her nose. Harriet is wearing a bright green sweater of thick, fuzzy wool, decorated here and there with glittering snowflakes. The sweater is at least two sizes two large, and falls over her paint-splattered jeans like a tunic. Her sneakers are bright yellow hightops, adorned with smiley face stickers on their toes. Harriet is also wearing a large, thick denim jacket, which has been patched, whether it needed it or not, with numerous squares of rainbow and tye-dyed cloth. Not a particularly tall man, perhaps five and a half feet or so in height. Dark hair cut neatly, going to grey at the sides and indicating he is perhaps in his later thirties or early forties. Wrinkles at the corners of his brown eyes also indicate his age. His thin, sharp face gives him a serious demeanor. He is clean shaven, without a touch of facial hair. There is a faint scar in the cleft of his chin. He wears a suit. It is a simple, conservative cut. The suit is black, white shirt and a black tie. The clothes fit well on his trim form. Black wingtips complete the look. The cufflinks are silver with obsidians. Cosmo stands as Zach approaches. "We're good. I was jsut discussing with Roger the possibility of brokering a deal to get the Commander to personally take care of his induction, and failing that, I'll contact Stone." He speaks quietly. Though here, it is safe. "Join us, we'll get you a plate." Zach says, "Are you having separate dishes or just One Big Lunch?" Harriet hugs Zach, and grins before retaking her seat. "And you're very flattering, as always, you know?" She winks at him, then looks from Zach to Cosmo, and mock pouts. "I obviously should have wore leather today. I feel all left out." Harriet says, "Seperate dishes." Zach takes a seat and nods his thanks to Cosmo. "Sounds good. He'll be happier having a solid organization behind him, than us less than organized types." The waiter comes over with a menu, but Zach already knows what he wants. The sweet chili chicken soup with bread to dip in it. Mmm. Cosmo takes a bite of szechuan chicken. And offers some to Zach as well. "I suppose we should discuss our plans with Harriet, regarding the tapeworm." He sips from his hot tea after offering that little bit. "But first, how did things go with the redheads?" Harriet's eyebrows rise at the word 'tapeworm', but although she frowns just a bit, she doesn't argue. Nope. She just quietly and serenely takes a spoonful of her soup, and looks at Zach. "Redheads?" Zach eyes Cosmo and then chuckles softly, eyes shining wiht mirth. "They were....odd. I think I like them," he adds with a grin. "Kept saying stuff completely out of the blue and totally unintelligible. I wonder what's their story.. And then my girlfriend showed up - haven't seen her for weeks! Apparantly she's been to Japan and Europe on a whim of her dad's and her own." Zach looks mightily pleased at that. Wonder where he spent the night... Cosmo doesn't wonder any. "Your girlfriend, hmm? I imagine you did have a good evening then." He pauses as he considers a vaguely off-color comment. "Glad she's back in town, hopefully we can meet her soon. As for the girls, I do think we need to make sure that Harriet gets a chance to work with young Aria." Harriet beams at the mention of Aria. "Hey, yeah! I've met her...she's pretty fun, you know? Didn't get to talk long, unfortunately. I had to leave to pick up some supplies." She tilts her head, thinking. "I'm supposed to lend her a book...I'll have to remember to put it in the car." Zach nodnods and looks happily at them. "I hope you two manage to bump into each other again." So much for the organization talents of the Zach. "Hey, have you considered giving the odd lesson or course, Harriet?" Cosmo will have to do the organization. "She seemed really excited with the prospect of beign tutored by you, Harriet. Though Zach's idea isn't half bad, if you can find the time." He takes another bite of his food. Savoring the spicey taste. The efficient and discreet waiter stealths over to their table with Zach's soup and bread, then vanishes again like only the really good waiters do. Harriet shakes her head and grins at Zach. "Not really. I've given out the odd pointer or two, but actually designing and running a course? It's never really occurred..." she looks at Cosmo, and blinks. "Er? Tutor? Me? Um...er, I've never really considered it, you know?" She looks fairly stunned at the very prospect. Not actually unhappy, just confused. Zach sniffs the aroma rising from his soup blissfully, then nods to Harriet. "I'm serious you know, hon. Do you remember how I asked you what you liked doing, and if you'd given courses earlier? That was all part of my plan to sniff out if you're teacher material as well as a bona fide artist. Like yoy yourself said about my little sister: Talent should be helped and nurtured. Now as for my sister, she don't need that - but this new girl might. And others like her." Cosmo nods in agreement with Zach. "You have the patience and enthusiasm for instructing. Especially with a young lady that seems to be eager to learn. You could help her develop not only her talents, but in other ways." He takes another bite of chicken and rise, chewing thoroughly. His fork scrapes gently against his plate and he dabs his mouth with his napkin. "That is what we are here for, after all." "Yeah, but /teaching/," Harriet says, rather dubiously. She looks down into her soup for a long moment, thinking it over. "I don't know, you know? I haven't really thought about it before. I'd have to consider it...maybe I could talk to the University about arranging a workshop or two. They're shorter, and I could see if it's something that I could do." She purses her lips, and nods. "I'll certainly consider it." Zach nods emphatically and gestures with his spoon. "Workshops are excellent. It's really what I meant to suggest, I just fumbled up the names." He grins. "It'll give you a chance to spread some of those cool inspirational vibes, hon. And I'm pretty sure that you'll pick up on a few as well. Gathering creative folks in one place usually works like that." He dips a piece of bread in the soup and adds, "Up until they start arguing about form and schools and stuff, that it." A mischiveous twinkle manifests in his eyes. Long distance to Boh: Zach nods. I've been figuring it's been kids/juveniles. That's what I've told the others IC whenever it's come up. I'm planning to observe quietly, take pics, maybe run 'em off or Ask Questions(tm). Smiling softly. "I don't think either of us are suggesting you start teaching classes every day. But helping someone like Aria one on one, or teaching the occasional workshop would be good for you and for your students. There's also the fact that it will provide some supplementary income." Cosmo sips more of his hot tea. The bitter taste setting off the sharpness of the chicken and spices. Long distance to Harriet: Zach nods. Good. It'll give me time to organize those blasted seraphim of mine whom I never seemto be able to meet up with. :) From afar, Boh will be happy to run away from Zach when doing this petty stuff, but I imagine you're probably agile enough to catch up and Ask Questions if you intend to. Harriet nods and smiles at them. "Well, then, I'll definitely put it on my To Do list, you know? And Aria's a nice young woman...it'd probably be fun." She beams at them, before winking to Cosmo. "Although, since the Andron Gallery bought my sculpture for a number in the low six figures, I think I'm covered for money for a bit." Cosmo waves a hand as if to dismiss that. "Nothing wrong with earning more if it's done honestly, Harriet." he smiles as he takes another bite from his plentiful plate. He smiles as he chews. Watching her across the table. Harriet spreads her hands, and chuckles. "I can't imagine what I'd do with it. Not eating Ramen for a regular diet is nice, but just this week with the estate lawyer, I realized that there wasn't really that much that I wanted, that I didn't already have, you know?" She shrugs. "Most of it's marked to go to my family and a couple of charities, anyway." Zach looks approvingly at Harriet and smiles. "That's a really nice thing to do, hon. Ain't not much point in wealth if you don't share it and use it for good stuff." Cosmo glances at Zach, then gives a nod. "I will agree with that much. Though spending it does good as well." Of course he's going to say that. He sets his fork down on the plate then, considering a moment. "I suppose we need to talk about Lucian now." "I suppose we do," Harriet says, and sighs. She looks down at her wrist, and her watch. "Especially since I have to leave in a little while." She looks up, her expression carefully neutral. "So. Yeah, you know?" Zach sombers a bit and silently has some more soup. Then, as The Quiet continues, he asks Harriet gently, "Have you seen more to him after that stunt on the skating rink?" Not one to look away, even when saying something difficult, Cosmo keeps his eyes on Harriet. He waits for a reply to Zach's question before explaining the plan. "There was no stunt...just skating," Harriet points out serenely. "But yes, I have. Yesterday morning, actually." The set of her shoulders and jaw is just a tad defensive, but her expression is still careful, pleasant, and attentive. "And how did that go?" asks the now openly worried mechanic. Cosmo closes his brow tight together. "Yes. How did that go?" You paged Boh with 'Sorry...Failing a multitask attempt here.. <:) Um. With Str9/Ag7 I might be able to overtake one of your hooligans? :)'. Boh pages: You'd certainly be able to overtake. But then what? Boh pages: I assume you're busy with RP now, so we can't just go play this out, right? Long distance to Boh: Zach nods. Unfortunately. Boh pages: So what's your plan once you've grabbed a hooligan? :) Harriet sighs. "The same way each of our--four, in case you were wondering--has gone, you know?" She shrugs. "We snap and snarl at each other for a few minutes, Lucian glares at some innocent piece of shrubbery, we talk about nothing in particular, and eventually one or the other of us has to leave. Sometimes we talk about," she waves a hand, "this. Sometimes we talk about coffee. It just depends." You paged Boh with 'I'm not sure when I'll be able to get online next week, if at all. Long days at work, and my evenings are booked. Which means that I have to sleep at night. *shock* *horror* :) So...plan.. "What the fuck do you think you're doing, you little dipshit?!"'. Zach sighs. "So as far as you know, he hasn't messed with you any more that he already has?" Cosmo looks over to Zach for a moment. Then back to Harriet. There's something goign on behind his eyes, calculating. He speaks softly. "He's trying to maintain the relationship. If for no other reason then in hopes of dividing us." Boh pages: The hooligan wriggles in your grasp. "Screw you, buddy!" he yells. "I got rights! You can't treat people like this! Call a cop or let me go, asshole!" Harriet nods. "As far as I know, Zach, he hasn't. We still disagree about everything except the weather, so..." she shrugs. She nods to Cosmo. "I would agree, although I should mention that neither of you have come up in the conversation, except as one of his rather juvenile asides, you know?" She smiles slightly. Zach says, "Please ignore this roll, guys. It's not happening here. :)" AutoJudge: Zach rolls: 2 + 6 = 8 . Check die: 4 Long distance to Boh: Zach tries and fails to resonate the schmuck. He scowls furiously and tightens his grip with inhuman strenght. "Oh, but I can, he murmurs. As far as I'm concerned you ain't people when you mess with my car. So spill it bub! What're you up to?!" Cosmo takes a slow breath. "He's hoping that your continued associating with him will drive a wedge between you and us. At least, that is what I presume." He muses for a moment. "I know you care for him, Harriet. But I think, for your sake, and for that of his students, it would be best if we sent him for a little visit to his Heart." Zach nods to this. "And the fact that he hasn't been badmouthing us so far, doesn't mean that he won't. He's good at what he does. An above average powerful Liar, probably in some favour with his Boss.. I have the impression that he's quite young, and already he's become very strong." Boh pages: The kid struggles again. "Or else what? You're going to kick my ass? Your car's more important than a person? You're going all vigilante over your fucking car? It's just stuff, dickhead!" You say, "I've been watching and scouting him out for months now, and I don't believe there is any chance of us getting him to reconsider his...carreer. So he must be removed." Harriet opens her mouth, closes it again, and takes a long, slow breath. "I...would rather you did not. Which you already know, I'm sure. And I believe that you are wrong. However," she frowns and looks down at her plate, "I cannot ignore the possibility that you are right. However, I would like to say...officially and on record...that I do not believe that right now would be a good time to send him back to Hell." She stares fixedly at the centerpiece. "Why not?" Cosmo inquires. He disagrees obviously. But he's curious as to her reasoning. "I'm willing to hear you out. And really, this is Zach's call as he's been more involved with the situation." Long distance to Boh: Zach smiles nastily. "Yeah, but it's /my/ stuff. In fact it's my bread and butter you're trying to destroy. So naturally this does not endear you to me, dipshit." He hoists the kid up in the air. "Now.. I belive I asked you something?" Zach's voice is soft as velvet. Zach tilts his head and regards Harriet wearily. "Please tell us about your reasoning here, Harriet. Why isn't now a good time?" Boh pages: As the kid is hoisted, his legs are probably left dangling in an ideal place for a fierce kick to the groin without even straining. He's not even trying for damage so much as the insult and the possible chance to break away. Zach says, "Please ignore." AutoJudge: Zach rolls: 4 + 1 = 5 . Check die: 1 Harriet sighs heavily and runs a hand through her hair in frustration. "See, here is my problem, you know?" She throws them both wry grin. "Whatever I say could be dismissed as Lucian just being...well, evil. He is, after all, a flying snake from the depths of the inferno. And," she looks down at her watch, "darn it, I don't have time to go into it now. I can, however, point out that Lucian /expects/ you two to come around and slit him stem to stern. Even relishes it, as proving his point. Perhaps another set of tactics is called for?" She frowns and stands. "Will you two be available later this evening? I really /do/ have to go..." Long distance to Boh: Zach shifts quickly so that the kick connects with his thigh and hip rather than the more tender parts of his anathomy. He grunts in annoyance and carries the scoundrel over to a garbage bin, takes the lid off and stuffs the kid into it. At the bin is almost full, this leaves the kid with his bottom in the garbage, feet hanging out over the edge, arms likewise. Zach won't be. :( Cosmo gives a nod of his head to Harriet. "I can come to your apartment if you like, Harriet, this evening. I'll be willing to hear you out." Harriet wws and hugs. "Thanks for the RP." Zach sighs heavily. "I can't, but I'll trust Cosmo's judgement in this. I have to work my role, see. And as for Lucian - yes he exects it. That doesn't make him any less of a problem." Zach says, "Likewise! :)" Harriet smiles at Cosmo. "I would appreciate that, Cosmo. A lot." She nods to them both, and waves. "Now, I've got to go." Harriet has left. Cosmo watches her go. A frown on his thin features. Boh pages: Are you holding him down after stuffing him? From afar, Boh realized he should learn that before posing getting up. ;) Zach waves bye to Harriet as she leaves. He also frowns and taps his fingers on the table in annoyance. "Man that snake is really getting on my nerves. I've suffered him to live for way too long now. There just ain't anything more we can do, that I can think of brother." Long distance to Boh: Zach holds him down with one hand and idly checks him for weapons, just in case. "Well, smartass? Are you gonna talk to me or what?" Boh pages: The kid shakes his head. "Help! Police! Help! Call 911!" he begins yelling at the top of his lungs. Cosmo runs a hand over his face. "I know. I want to feel his vessel shudder as he draws his last breath, feel his pulse stop beneath my hand. We send him back to his heart, and perhaps he'll see that working together we are stronger then him as an individual. Maybe once he's come back he'll see things more clearly." He doesn't look like he believes that though. Zach nods grimly to Cosmo. "We'll probably have him back here in not to long a time though, he's at least ten forces strong and his Prince'll give him a second chance. But we cannot allow Lucian Szabo to run aroun here anymore. The Role must die as well as the vessel." You paged Boh with 'As soon as he starts yelling, Zach clamps a hand over his mouth. "Oh no you don't. See, if you don't tell me about this little hooligan spree you're on, I'm going to have a chat with a cop friend of mine and hand over the photos I have of you messing up my car. If you spill, I'll destroy that evidence." Still silken smooth voice.'. Cosmo taps his finger against his chin. "We could just kill the vessel in the park. Take the body to his office and leave it there to be discovered. Perhaps maybe look like he hung himself. That would destroy the Role as well." From afar, Boh stops yelling and glares at Zach. Apparently, he's not going to succeed at spilling anything with a hand over his mouth. Boh pages: (Rather, the kid possessed by Bo does, but you get the idea.) ;) Long distance to Boh: Zach grins and nods OOCly.:) "Do we have a deal, kiddo? You can nod ya head or shake it - it's your life after all." He smiles cheerfully. Boh pages: The kid shakes his head, still glaring. A muffled sound he emits could be a "fuck you." Zach leans forward and rests his chin in his hand. "Yeah, that could work. He does spend a lot of time in his office, so it might even be possible to pop him there. He's quite often there at night, he hardly ever uses his official appartment." You paged Boh with 'Has the kid got any sort of ID on him? In his wallet maybe?'. Boh pages: A student ID card. He goes to a local high school. Cosmo rubs his thumb and finger on his chin. "I don't know that Harriet will cooperate. But ideally we need to get her to have dinner with him so that we can sneak into his office. We'll both be waiting, and I'll have Ethereal Form ready so that when he walks in...he sees just you. Hit him with the Ketamine and then we can string him up and hang him while he's unconcious. He'll wake up next to his Heart." Long distance to Boh: Zach sighs and shakes his head. "Too bad. I'll just have to hand over your name and the photos then, mr....Fitzpatrick, wasn't it? I'll keep the tar and feathers ready, in case you should be stupid enough to come 'round again." He looks the kid over to try and calculate how hard he'll have to bop him to leave him unconcious for a couple of minutes. Zach mulls this over thoughtfully. "Now if I could just get my hands on a set of Traci's dirty little pictures to hide in his desk, that'd be a perfect setup.." Boh pages: The kid looks like a fairly normal person for his age. He's a little scrawny, definitely not a jock, though his kick was surprisingly strong. Cosmo arches a brow at that. A slow smile on his face. "I thought, perhaps, we should leave a note detailing how lonely his life has become thanks to his refusal to make any emotional connections and his systematic rejection of anyone who might care about him. Talk about how unbearable it is to be alone. It might encourage those at the college to seek out those one another, to build stronger bonds together." You paged Boh with 'There are no actual rules for subdual damage, but I figure it'll work if we just agree to it up front? :) (This system ain't made for subduing people, just to kill e'm. *sigh*)'. Boh pages: Well, there is that narrow range of unconsciousness between zero hits and death. ;) It's also a little wacky because, being possessed, the kid has way more hit points than he looks like he should, but Bo will have him feign unconsciousness if he realizes Zach is trying to knock him out. Zach quirks a dark smile. "Nice one, bro. And in case you were wondering: Traci is the leech who's been after Roger. She's by far the worst of the two Lusties. Her role is that of a fifteen year old Catholic Schoolgirl, and it's a pretty well embedded one at that. And she does seem to enjoy going after older men, just so you're warned..." Cosmo smirks faintly at that revelation. "That must be the one that first night I met him. She got him to buy her a drink despite being underage. If she goes for me though...I promise she'll regret it." A sparkle lights up his eyes then. "Do we know what band she is? Long distance to Boh: Zach nods. I just think subdual damage should be possible in a cinematic superhero game like this.:) At least with a decent Fight-skill. (Which Zach has. Amazingly:) Right.. Zach appraises mr Hooligan Fitzpatrick and lands a well-amied bap at the base of his skull with the side of his hand. Clearly intending to go for a lights-out. Boh pages: The kid slumps on cue, rolling his head to one side. You say, "Well, going by Roger's descriptions of feeling drained after haveing been with her... I'm guessing she's an impudite. She's very, very good at making people like her and be nice to her.." Boh pages: I presume Zach then leaves to go get someone? Long distance to Boh: Zach checks his pulse and then fades into the shadows of the night like a good malakitish batman superhero thingie. He doesn't get anyone yet, because my cop friend isn't online. :) Cosmo gives a little nod at that. "I'm sure she is quite adroit at it. I doubt she'll target me, however." He smiles then, taking a slow breath. Boh pages: The kid counts to a hundred, to give Zach time to go away but not time to get back, if he's making a phone call. Then the kid struggles his way out of the trash can, with a skill practiced thanks to schoolyard bullies. He once again starts to run. Zach looks far from convinced at that. "Well, I've been planning a bit of bother for her. I want to mess up her Role real good by exposing her. She's been posing for a japanese porn magazine, and I'm trying to find the picuters of her. I don't think the authorities and the folks ather school will be very pleased with them.." He smiles nastily. "Also, if we manage to prove that her 'aunt' only exists on paper, the authorities might not be too thrilled with a sexually active fifteen year old girl living all by herself unsupervised.." Long distance to Boh: Zach stops as he hears running feet, but then just shrugs and leaves. (OOC: Awww! Poor boy.:) Boh pages: Going to continue to stake out? ;) Cosmo chuckles softly at Zach's comments. "Hmmm. Do you know where she lives?" He asks the question with a sparkle in the eye. He lives for this sort of thing. "If I could get into her apartment..." You paged Boh with 'Yes. With camera.:) If it's a new hooligan every time, then Zach will eventually start connecting stuff and wonder about that shedite.. (He thinks there's just one.:)'. Boh pages: Another random kid comes by in a couple of days with a two-by-four to smash all the windows on the truck, then, including the windshield. Zach grins with shining eyes. "Yes I know where she lives. Right next to Harriet's in fact. Upstairs from my girlfriend's, so access isn't a problem. Roger hasn't noticed any sort of alarm system in her flat, nor any cameras. But it won't hurt to be careful. My worst fear is that she's got pictures of herself and Roger togeather. That's destroy him..." You paged Boh with 'Thank god for not needing sleep and not getting cold much.:) Zach takes a pic and then throws an apple at the kid.'. You paged Boh with 'Hard.'. Cosmo laces his fingers together. "Cameras can't see the invisible. And I've been picking locks for a very long time. The trick is to make sure she isn't there when I make the entry. If she does have pictures of her and Roger, we'll eliminate those." Boh pages: The kid takes the hit and runs. Zach nods. "That was my plan. Getting evidence of her doings would be good too. I've talked with a friend of mine about getting some small cameras and other surveillance equipment to put up in Traci's flat without her knowing. She takes most of her victims up there." Zach says, "Only Traci hasn't been around here much the last couople of months and then some.. :/" Long distance to Boh: Zach sighs. I guess I should just be glad you're not a Vapulan.. :) Cosmo rubs his cheeks with thumb and finger. "I can get us in if you can get us the equipment to install. I don't think the locks would present me much of a problem." He grins then. "We're going to have to be careful. We cut too wide a swath through the demons in the city, and we're liable to draw quite a lot of Infernal attention." Boh pages: Indeed. :) Cosmo says, "Shows she was on Friday." Boh pages: And the next night, it's another kid. Actually, does Zach get close enough to potentially hear the noise? I can't imagine any of the smashes would make more than one point of Disturbance, but that might be enough, with a lucky Perception roll. Zach says, "Not while I was on she weren't. She in from time to time reading her @mail, but I think she's ill a lot. :( Hopefully she's better now, since she's been around with Lucian and Roger the last two weeks." Cosmo says, "We can @mail her, see about setting up a scene." You paged Boh with 'It's not like he's got a papparazzi lens, so he'll have to be pretty close.:) And sooner or later, the disturbance will reach his ears.:)'. Boh pages: Well then, there you go. That's what we get for you using your truck as bait, since you could have taken the hassle to park it somewhere more secure. :) Zach chuckles and fiddles with his spoon. "They've been running rampant lately, so I think it's about time they learn a bit more caution, my friend. I can get the equipment, but it might take some time since it probably needs to be built first. Oh. and seeing as she's at school during the day, that'llbe the best time to break in. It's a very quiet house, not much traffic in the stairs." "Perfect." Cosmo replies. He rests his hands on his stomach and watches you fiddle with teh spoon. "You let me know as soon as you have the equipment, we'll do the insertion then and see what we can find." Long distance to Boh: Zach :) But that costs money! :) Besides, using the truck as bait is an excellent way of pissing Zach off. He's rather particular to that truck. :) Good plot device! From afar, Boh grins. So anyway, do you want to deal with hearing it today, or wait for another day? Zach beams at Cosmo over the table. "That's settled then. Man I'm glad you're here! I'm not used to dealing with a whole city on my own. This whole thing is new to me, as hit and run tactics is what I've been doing before." He rubs his hands together eagerly. Zach says, "And /that/ was the understatement of the century. For Zach anyway. :)" Cosmo laughs softly. "We can't be too careless. But if we have both Harriet and Roger as Soldiers, and the two of us cooperating...we can do some damage I think." He's got that predatory smile on his lips now. Oh yes. You paged Boh with 'We'll leave that for another night. When can you normally be online?'. Boh pages: Hard to say. I tend to make my social life pretty busy, so I'm not around all that often. :) Zach grins ferally. "I think I like the smell of what we've got cooking. Now if I can just get hold of one of my seraphim to verify whether Harriet has or can have that extra piece of Soul, I can start prepping for her initiation. I also have a secret soldier stashed away, but I don't think I'm allowed to tell you about that one. It's a bit of a top secret thing, and I'd hate to mess that up." He looks very sincere at that. He would /definitely/ not be a happy camper if he did that. Upstairs would see to that... You paged Boh with 'I might even throw in a scene with Very Grumpy Zach, just to try and get som Angst out of it. Shamless as I am. :) :)'. "I'm convinced she has the capacity. Perhaps I'm just optimistic, but if you can invoke Janus or Eli, I imagine they'd be able to add that piece of Soul onto her." Cosmo considers a moment. Not sure whether to ask the next question. But he has too. "Can you tell me about the intitiation you folks have?" Zach giggles! Boh pages: And then soon we can see how you deal with demons messing with your truck. It must be expensive to keep getting all those repairs made, even with the discount from working at a garage. :) Cosmo grins. Zach eyes Cosmo for a while, then bursts into laughter. "'You folks?'" he chortles mirthfully. "I'm sure I don't know /what/ you mean! Us folks commonly initiate Soldiers with the ritual that has been deviced for this. It's not very different from how your lot do it, or the Sword. Only the Sword probably has way more frills and ceremony and stuff... It's not a rite of Creation, if that's what you were wondering." He smiles warmly to Cosmo. "How it turns out if Eli gets involved personally, I couldn't say. But the way I learned it, you should try to fit the ritual to the one being initiated. Makes the entry into the full Awareness go smoother." You paged Boh with 'Yep. That's why Zach will run off the little bastards from now on. Even if it's possible to get stuff cheap if you know where to look, it's an expence he really can't afford.:) Not that he's adverse to nicking stuff, though. Far from it.'. Cosmo gives a nod of his head then. Looking partly relieved and partly disappointed. One hears rumors after all. "Ahh, well, that's comforting. Ours usually involve signing some paperwork, and exchanging of gifts. Sort of like Christmas without the pine trees." You paged Lucian with 'I'm afraid your demise is being planned, my friend... <:)'. Cosmo says, "Ack. I've got to go for a couple of hours." Lucian pages: I had no doubt. :) Zach grins and places some money on the table to pay for lunch. "Why don't you ask Roger. It was me who brought him into awareness. Not with as much ado as the Swordies would have done, but it went extremely well. Now I gotta go earn my keep. See you later, bro!" Lucian pages: If you'd like to attempt to ambush me soon, page me. :) Zach nods. I better get to bed. Work tomorrow. Thanks for the rp! :) You paged Lucian with 'Won't be today.:) We have a plan involving using Harriet as bait. If she'll cooperate, that is.:) I'm about to head to bed now. Harriet and Cosmo'll be on later I think.'. From afar, Lucian chuckles. I sense... Bait. Cosmo says, "Thank you!" Zach says, "Take care:)" Cosmo leaves some money as well, covering the tip at least. 'I need to take care of a few things as well. Take care, Zach." Cosmo vanishes to the ooc areas. Cosmo has left. You paged Lucian with 'Cosmo had an evil plan involving the Trade Tether, but I don't think we'll use that. It'd fry you if you tried going celetial in there. Soul death is unCool. :|'.
