Logfile from Brass&Steel. Zach(#777PXcen) Zach is a tall man, probably about 6'3". Slim, well built and rather handsome, his apperance is one of goodnatured machismo. He carries himself well, with an air of cheerful confidence and a flirtatious sparkle showing in his green eyes. Movements are smooth and precise. His hair is relatively short cut, darkish blonde and wavy. A workman's tan is visible, and hints to much time being spent outdoors. The clothes he is wearing are simple, but durable: Blue jeans, white, slightly oil-stained t-shirt and a blue denim jacket. A leather belt sporting an enameled buckle can be seen. The shoes seems to be black Doc Marten's. There is a very faint whiff of oil about him. Cindy says, "Want to set the scene?" Zach is sitting on a stool at the counter, digging into a sandwich with the gutso of a hungry mechanic. His hands could have been cleaner, but he doesn't seem to care. Cindy struts into the room and cocks her hip out to one side as she surveys the joint. Then she struts over to the counter, rolling her hips as she does so. She chooses the stool right next to Zach and slips onto it, adjusting her miniskirt as she does so. She leans over the counter and waits for attention from the waitstaff. You see a medium height, thin young woman. Her hair is blond and long, and her skin is lightly tanned. Her deep brown eyes search the world. She's wearing a too-small red blouse, along with a skin-tight black miniskirt and black stilettos. In general, she seems laid-back. Cindy says, "Sure, it's blatant, but it's just the first round. :)" Zach groans sliently...:) Zach eyes the woman who just joined him and takes in the view. He smiles and nods to her in a friendly way. "Afternoon, miss.." The current time in Kansas City is 4:25 PM, Sun Oct 06, 2002. Cindy turns her head and smiles back in a flirtatious way. "Good afternoon," she says softly. "Nice place here. Do you come here often?" Zach takes a bite of his sandwitch and nods while he chews on it. "Mhm, I do." Chew, chew, swallow. "Can't recall having seen you here before. I'da remembered." He smiles roguishly. Cindy regards Zach, continuing to smile as she looks him up and down. "No, I haven't been here before," she confirms, "but I always like to try new things. Maybe you can suggest something?" She lets the hint linger before indicating the menu with a small gesture, as if that were all she meant. Zach tilts his head with a small smile. "Sure I can, miss. They do a mean piece of BBQ chilli chicken here, if you like the hot stuff." Cindy's smile broadens. "Thanks," she says. She flags down a waitress and orders just that, along with a diet cola. Then she turns back to Zach and asks conversationally, "So what's your name, handsome?" Zach grins and offers a handshake. "I'm Zach. Pleased you meet you, doll. What's your name, then?" Cindy shakes hands. Her grip is firm and warm. "Cindy. It's a pleasure to meet you too, Zach." She lets her hand linger in Zach's for another few moments before letting go. "Tell me something about yourself, Zach," she suggests. Zach raises an eyebrow and flashes a crooked smile at her, eyes aglitter. "Whatcha wanna know, doll?" Cindy shrugs eloquently, which strains her blouse even more. "Do you have a girlfriend or wife?" she asks, getting right to the point. "I wouldn't want to try to tempt you into straying, but if you're free..." she explains, trailing off at the end as she looks Zach up and down once more. Zach chuckles. "My, my.. You don't beat around the bush now do you?" He devours the final piece of his sandwich. "I have a girlfriend." Cindy awwws, hamming up her disappointment. "Well, I find the direct path is often the best," she explains, looking down at the counter in front of Zach in a show of shyness. Looking up at his eyes, she adds, "I just like to know what I'm shooting for, if you know what I mean. No point getting all worked up about a rugged, handsome stranger if he's going to be faithful to his boring old girlfriend." She winks playfully and leans forward on the counter, grinning. "But that's OK. You can tell me about your girlfriend so I can know my competition." Zach chuckles again. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself first, doll?" Zach has to go soon. <:) Cindy pouts. "I asked you first," she points out. "Besides, there's nothing to me. I'm a waitress at Denny's. I'm between boyfriends. I like to party and have a good time. I don't smoke, and I only drink around other people. I live with a roommate, but she's never home." Cindy says, "Alas!" Zach says, "Paranoia roll.. :)" AutoJudge: Zach rolls: 6 + 1 = 7 . Check die: 1 Zach says, "Bliss!! :)" Cindy says, "?" Zach hehs and places some money on the counter. "Sounds like you have the world laid out for ya, hon. Maybe I'll see you again if you keep hangin' out here. I'm afraid I gotta split now. Duty calls." He slips off his stool. Cindy nods. "Remember, you owe me your side of the conversation," she calls after him with a smile. "See you around." Zach grins and winks to her. "Hasta la vista, honey." He saunters out the door. Zach says, "Thanks for the rp. Sorry it didn't last longer. <:)" Cindy says, "No problem. We'll do it another time. Thanks, and see you around."
