You step into Crown Royale. Crown Royale Leatherwear -- Storefront Stark modernity seems to the theme of this shop. It is quite large and at first glance seems to be rather bare. There seems to be a lot of empty space supported by shiny steel beams that run from the floor to the ceiling. The walls are painted a flat white in contrast to the dark blue carpeting. Scattered around the floor space are large metal racks. Hanging on the racks are rows of leather in all shapes and forms. Most common seem to be leather pants, along with tight leather shirts, leather mini skirts and even leather bikinis. Also scattered around the floor are mannequins, all in sexy poses, lips pouting and hands on hips as their blank eyes stare off into nothingness. They are dressed in examples of the clothing that the shop carries. Sevaral of them are lined up in the large front window of the store that overlooks the street. Near the back wall of the shop is a large wooden counter with a cash register on it. Right next to the counter is a black curtain swaying softly in the breeze. As the bell over the door rings Sarah glances quickly at Traci and murrmers "Have fun, I'll join you if I can." She steps out of the dressing room and moves towards the front of the shop. As she sees Zach she smiles "Zach! What are you doing here?" Traci's aren't the only feet showing beneath the changeroom door.. Ada enters from the Crown Center. Ada has arrived. Zach looks around in the shop with a smile. Upon hearing Sarah, he turns and grins. "Hey, lady! Just chacking out the leather goods." Ada is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with hair dyed all the colors of the rainbow that hangs to her shoulders, and blue eyes. She looks to be in her late teens or early twenties; her body is slender without being skinny, her curves understated, her fingers long and tapered. Her skin is pale, her lips a light pink, and her nose curves upward ever so slightly. She is dressed to kill, in a black bodysuit with green metallic threads woven into the fabric to resemble circuitry. Over this she wears a black leather trenchcoat that falls to her ankles, calf-length form-fitted boots of the same material, and oddly bulky black gloves with the same circuitry design as the bodysuit. Her multi-colored hair fairly glows, and her glasses are dark and sweep around her face, obscuring her eyes. Ada just looked at you. Zach beams at Sarah. "So, how're you?" Sarah chuckles "Well well, glad to hear it. Can I show you anything." She winks at him "A nice jacket or some pants maybe." She looks him up and down "Mmm yes I can see you in nice pair of lether pants.." She smiles at him "I'm good. You? Zach glances at Ada and crincles a small smile at her hair before he focuses on Sarah again. "I'm great. Feel like a million bucks!" He grins wickedly. "You wouldn't happen to have any?" Sarah chuckles and leads him over to sevral racks of pants, and conquindently away from the dressing rooms "Well my pants aren't *that* expenive." She nods at the racks "See any you like?" Zach looks at pants. He feels the leather fith his fingers, checking the quality. He seems to prefer black to brown, however when he spots a flaming red pair... "Ohhh... Nii-iice! You got any of those in my size?" Sarah grins "Probably, I have a wide slection here." She looks him up and down, her gaze lingering perhaps more then it should for a normal judging of size "What size do you wear? Zach states his size and straightens ever so slightly whan he notices lingering eyes. Zach says, "I have noo idea of proper clothes size for men..:)" Sarah nods "I belive we have that size." She vanishes into the storgage area and returns a few minutes later, red leather pants in tow. Traci says, "mm.. that's nice...." Zach blinks and glances over towards the disembodied voice. Traci swears, and is called away.. DAMN. You say, "Uh, Sarah..? What was that?" AutoJudge: Traci spends 2 essence. Sarah blinks and looks over at the dressing room "Someone likes their selection of clothing?" Sarah is assuming that if were Symphonyicly Aware we heard you spend the essance. Traci says, "Yup.. Gotta run" Traci has disconnected. Zach lifts an eyebrow. "Yes..." he says slowly, "..it would appear so.." He smiles. "Kinda like that shampoo commercial?" Sarah laughs "Yes exactly." She touches his arm and smiles returning his attention to both her and the pants "Now, you'll need a top to go with these of course." Ada exits the dressing room, adjusting her sunglasses. "Sarah... I think these will be just what the doctor ordered." Sarah turns around and beams "Good good, glad to hear it." She then pauses "Do you think you need shoes too?" Zach beams at Sarah and the trousers. "Yes, I will. But not leather." He muses. "A simple, white shirt will do the trick." Ada shakes her head. "I think I have too many pairs of shoes already..." Sarah turns back to Zach "You sure. I could see you in a black muscle top." She winks "Show off those pecs Zach smiles at Ada for a sec., then back at Sarah and chuckles. "I bet you could. But I want clothes that I can actually wear for a while. What you have in mind will get torn off too fast." Sarah raises an eyebrow "Oh? Who will being doing the tearing." She grins "Do you have lots of women following you around ripping at your clothes? Ada grins at Zach. "That's why you go with leather." Sarah chuckles at Ada's comment "Exactly.Leather holds up quite well, of course, cleaning it can be hard sometimes." She grins at Zach "But having people help clean it makes it go twice as fast. Zach hehs at Ada. "Well no, Sarah, normally I don't." He indicates his demin clothes. "I'm just a regular Joe, but if I let you have your way with me and then walk out into KC I'll be *asking* for trouble." He chortles. Sarah purrs softly "But it would be so fun wouldn;t it." Ada sets her choices on the counter and slips over to Sarah and Zach. Zach lets his eyes wander over Sarah again and seems to be gently biting his lip. "No doubt about that, princess. But I kinda prefer the slow, lasting kinda fun." He laughs again. "So, any cool shits of the white persuation to sell me, ms. storeowner?" Zach says, "SHIRTS!!! 8)" Sarah laughs Zach says, "Hides his face in shame:)" Sarah smiles slightly "Oh I quite agree with you, long and slow is very fun. But shirts, let see." She turns and walks away slowly, giving both of them a good long look at the way her pants fit Zach is well brought up, so he holds out his hand to Ada. "Hi, I'm Zach." Ada takes the proffered hand and bows over it, raising it to her lips. "Ada Lovelace, at your service." Zach starts at this peculiar greeting and his eyebrows nearly collide with his hairline. "Uh... Charmed, I'm sure..?" He tries to twist his hand gently so that they will shake instead of...whatever it is Ada is doing. Ada smiles and relents, shaking Zach's hand gently before releasing it. Zach collects his wits about him and smiles warmly again. "I must be soo outdated. I always thought it was the guy who was supposed to to the kiss on the hand thing." Sarah returns, sevral white shirts in hand "My selection for non leather goods it a bit small but try these." Ada says, "Nah, just one of my quirks. Next time you'll remember me as "that girl who kissed my hand"." Zach blinks at Ada. "Oh! Hey! Thet's excellent!" He laughs as he turns to Sarah. "Oh, thanks. I'll just try them on over there, right?" Sarah smiles and nods "Yep, right over there in the dressing rooms. Zach ambles off to the dressing rooms with the shirts draped over his arm, and disappears into an empty one. The slight sound of denim jacket and t-shirt removal can be heard. Ada winks at Sarah. "So are you going to let me pay for my new clothes?" Sarah smiles slightly "Oh yes of course." She saunters over to the counter and leans on it. "How would you like to pay> Ada says, "Do you accept cash?" Ada grins. Sarah grins back "Of course." Then she leans into murrmer something to Ada Sarah mutters to Ada, "... are other... more private..." Zach tries on the shirts and ponders. Then he pops his head out and calls to Sarah: "Mind if I try the pants too?" Zach seeing the ladies whispering he withdraws a bit into the cubicle. Sarah looks over at Zach "Of course, let me bring them to you." She smiles at Ada "One sec dear." She walks over to the dressing room with the pants and hands them to Zach, checking out the shirt as she does so "Oooh, looks nice on you." Zach smiles to Sarah. "Why thank you, my dear." He grabs the pants, withdraws into the dressing room and starts to remove shoes and jeans from his person. On goes the very red leather trousers, and then he chooses a nice, white, tightish shirt. He leaves it hanging outside the pants. The curtain is drawn back and he steps out barefooted to get a better look in the mirrors. "Hmm... Not bad.." Sarah notes that her dressing rooms have doors rather then curtians :) Zach says, "Oh. Sorry, my bad." Sarah heads back to the counter and continues her discussion with Ada, although as Zach steps out she does give him a long lingering look "I like it. It looks very good on you." Sarah turns and whispers something to Ada Sarah mutters to Ada, "... isn't... important to... as... We... starting... in..." Zach beams happily. "Haven't had such a nice outfit in a long time." He returns to the cubicle to change back into his own clothes. Sarah throws a grin at Zach "And there's more where that came from." Sarah mutters to Ada, "... then shall... then..." Ada mutters to Sarah, "... you want to do it..." Sarah nods She mutters to Ada, "... is... like... it." Zach comes out of the dressing room after a short time, carrying shirts and pants over to wards the counter. He waits politely for the girls fo finish doing girlie stuff. Ada mutters to Sarah. Ada hands over a sizable wad of cash. Sarah smiles at Ada "Thank you." She quickly counts out the cash and adds "Here, let me bag the stuff for you." She reachs under the counter and pulls a bag with the stores name on it and neatly folds up the clothing before sliding it in. Ada says, "Oh, thank you." Ada says, "You don't mind if I hang out, do you?"" Sarah shakes her head "Of course not." She then turns to Zach and grins at him "So, you liked everything I take it." Zach smiles back. "Yeah, but seeing as I do have limited funds I'll only buy one of the shirts." He winks and then puts the trousers and the shirt he selected on the counter. Ada heads back to one of the dressing rooms. Sarah sighs "Are you sure? Those pants looked really hot on you." Zach looks a bit puzzeled when he sees where Ada is heading, but he digs out his wallet and prepares to have it slimmed. You say, "Oh no. One shirt and one pair of pants is what I meant." Sarah grins "Much better." She quickly rings up the shirt and pants and names him a price that is fairly good, perhaps not as expenive as he would have thought. Ada steps out, having changed into one of her new outfits, and steps up behind Zach at the counter. Sarah smiles at Ada "Looking nice." Zach brings out the cash and hands it over to Sarah. "Well, that's a good deal." He looks happy with this. Sarah accepts the cash with a grin "I hope that these won't be your only purchese with me. We have a lot. You might want to come back soon you know." Ada says, "I have to agree. Sarah's got quite a selection." Zach nods at them both. "Yes, I can see that. Maybe I'll have to start paying attention to fashions?" He grins knowing full well that he does *not* look like a fashiondude at all. Ada reaches around Zach. "Sarah, would you mind holding my bag behind the counter?" Ada is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with hair dyed all the colors of the rainbow that hangs to her shoulders, and blue eyes. She looks to be in her late teens or early twenties; her body is slender without being skinny, her curves understated, her fingers long and tapered. Her skin is pale, her lips a light pink, and her nose curves upward ever so slightly. She is wearing an outfit that seems to be almost completely leather, and entirely black: a band-collared shirt with sleeves that come down to her knuckles and flare out at the wrists, a tight miniskirt whose hem is at least four or five inches above her knees, and tight leather gloves with the fingers cut off at the second knuckle. On her feet are a pair of canvas-and-leather jungle boots; her multi-colored hair fairly glows, and her glasses are dark and sweep around her face, obscuring her eyes. Zach turns to take in the full sight of Ada. "Wow!" Sarah shakes her head "Of course not." She takes the bag and sets it behind the counter while nodding at Zach "Well I don't know if leather will ever be in fashion, but hey, set your own trends, that's what I say." Ada says, "Hey, leather's always in fashion." Ada smiles wryly at Zach. "So are you going to show us what the combination looks like, or do you ... have somewhere to be?" Sarah licks her lips "Oh yes, yes. Do show us the pants and top together." Zach grins at Ada. "Well... You shoulda paid attention when I tried it on, shouldn't you? Andyou as well, Sarah." His eyes sparkles teasingly. Ada raises her eyebrows. "What makes you think I wasn't?" Sarah steps around the counter and grins at him "Maybe we just want to see it again." Zach chuckles and leans on the counter. "Well, then you did see.." He looks at Sarah. "Oh.. Right here and now, or later over a drink?" He smiles at them. Ada grins. "I could go for a drink." Zach grins to Sarah. "But you have a store to watch now.. When do you close up?" Sarah hands Ada back her things as she leaves the shop and turns to Zach "So, what about that drink? I could close up the shop for a bit. It's one of the nice things about being self-employed." Zach straightens up and smiles widely. "Sure? This isn't wreaking havoc to your business, then? We couldn You say, "We couldn't have that now, could we?" Sarah shakes her head "Nope, not that all, It's almost 5 anyways." The current time in Kansas City is 4:32 PM, Thu Jun 13, 2002. Zach inclines his head. "Well far be it from me do disappoint a lady. I'll just go and get changed then." He grabs his new clothes and heads back into the dressing room. Sarah grins and starts closing up the shop. Sarah finishes locking up the shop and calls out "All done, we can leave whenever you want too." Zach pushes the dressing room dor open and steps out into the store, giving an impression of a sleek lion on the prowl. A very red and white lion granted, but the impression remains. "Ok, I'm ready." Sarah lets her eyes linger on him "Well well, very nice indeed." She steps up to him and straightens the collar of the shirt, letting her fingers run lightly down his chest before steping back "So, where do you want to go." Zach smiles slowly. "Well... I'm thinking maybe you should decide that. Seeing as I'm new in town and all." Sarah thinks for a moment "Well...have you been to the Club Bluebird yet? Or perhaps..." She names a few bars and then pauses "There's always my place of course, but my selction of drinks is limited, coulnd't make you anything fancy." Zach grins. "Neh - let's go out on the town. I checked out the Bluebird yesternight, and I'll gladly go there again. Great place!" Sarah grins "Cool." She looks around double checking stuff and then heads out the door." Zach stuffs his old clothes in the bag and follows Sarah out. Sarah glances at him "Your car or mine? Zach smiles. "Do you mind riding in a truck?" Sarah shakes her head "Not at all. Lead the way." Zach leads her to a parked truck. It's got a crane at tha back, so it can be used for towing cars and such. The truck is bright yellow, and on the sides is written: "Z. Ellis - Rescue and repairs - All vehicles." And a phone number to get hold of him. He opend the passenger door for her, and when she is seated he jumps in on the other side and takes off. You paged Sarah with 'Am waiting outside the club.'. Sarah hops out of the truck and grins "Well that was new, don't think that I've ever ridden in a tow truck before." Zach laughs. "Well there's always a first. Shall we go inside?" Sarah nods Sarah steps down into Club Bluebird. You say, "Okay, let's get us a table." Zach waves over a waitress who shows them to table #2 Sarah follows after him and settles down with a grin. "I'm afraid the bands don;t start til later in the evening but we can always listen to the piped in stuff." Zach smiles. "They have good taste in background music here, so that's no trouble. What would you like to drink?" Sarah looks up at the menu "Hmm, how about a scotch on the rocks." Zach leans back on his chair and grins. "Ah, the lady has a fine taste. Scotch on the rocks it is!" He asks the waitress to bring a scotch of Sarah's choosing and a straight malt whiskey for himself. Sarah settles back in her chair and smiles at him "So, hows bussiness? You say, "A bit on the slow side. I haven't gotten all that many contacts here yet. But I get by." Sarah nods "Glad to hear it." She pauses a moment to listen to the music before asking "So, where do you live?" Zach taps his fingers in beat with the music. "In my truck. I haven't bothered to find a room yet. It saves me a great deal of money to not have to pay rent." He sighs. "But if I'm gonna stick around here for a while, I'll probably have to get myself a room somewhere." Sarah looks suprised "Really? How uncomfortable. Where do you shower and what not?" Zach chuckles. "It's better than it sounds, honey. There is room enough in the truck for me to strech out." His eyes twinkle at her. "And I can clean myself up at truckstops no problem. That's where I find most of my business." Sarah smiles back, seemingly quite charmed with the twinkle in his eye "I see, how much room is the tuck. It did seem fairly roomwhen we were riding in it." Zach takes a sip of his whiskey. "About the size of a double bed. I push the seats to the front when I bed." Sarah nods and winks at him "Bing enough for two people if they squeeze up tight." She chuckles and looks up as their drinks arive." Zach smiles naughtily from ear to ear. Sarah takes a sip of her drink and smiles back. "So who elese have you met in your brief time here?" Zach shifts on his chair to sit more comfortably and streches his legs. "Mostly potential "business associates". Truckers, bikers, garage owners and the like." He glances around the room. "Then I've met you, of course." He grins. You say, "And last night I met an old friend of my dad's!" Sarah chuckles "So you have." She glances at the leather clad legs and smiles before glancing back up "Hmm? Oh that's nice. Who was it?" Zach smiles happily and earnestly. "An old jazz legend from these parts - Duke. Met him right here. Man, was I surprised! Haven't seen him in ages!" Sarah somthing flickers across Sarah's face, but it is gone before a name can be put to it and her voice is steady as she says "Well, how nice. How long had it been since you saw him last? Sarah says, "oops that was supposed to be a emit of course :)" Zach grins. "Not since I was a kid, more than...oh...thirty years ago! But he was old even then, so he wasn't hard to recognize. And just as snappish." He chuckles. "If you go here often, you've probably seen him around." Sarah nods "Yeah, I've seen Duke around a good bit, even chatted with him for a while. Knows his jazz that's for sure." She grins "Of course he played a good bit of it too." Zach smiles fondly. "Yeah. Dad an' him used to jam, even did some gigs together." Sarah nods "What's your dad's name? Maybe I've head of him. You say, "Ben Ellis. He was never famous even though he played a mean saxophone. I think he liked it that way, though... Wasn't in it for the fame and the money, he just had to play. And he was just as much of a rolling stone as I am. Couldn't stay in one place." Sarah nods "Did you travel with him a lot? Must have been fun. And hey, he never took you down to New Orleans? What sort of dad is that?" Zach grins ruefully. "That's what I'd like to know too." *chuckle* "No, he didn't take me along. Left me at home in Winner with my ma. Though he took me here a couple of times when I was little. It's not too far away. Well, not as far as New Orleans anyway." Sarah nods and she sips her drink "Oh? Where did you grow up?" You say, "In Winner, South Dakota. Very small town. Very boring. No wonder I became a modernday saddlebum.:)" Sarah laughs and slaps her self "That's right, you told me." She shakes her head "It must have been hard on your mom with your dad on the road all the time." Zach chuckles softly. "Yeah, she was not too pleased. But at least he married her..." He shrugs.. Sarah nods "Yeah good point." She smiles slightly "So that was your dads job? Musician? More fun then my dad's that for sure." Zach nods. "Yeah, he was a musician. But like so many others he had to take odd jobs to make ends meet. I guess he had a good life seen from his point of view - he got to play the music he loved. But it wasn't a glamoruos life in any way." He drinks some more and looks over at Sarah. "So what did your pa do?" Sarah rolls her eyes "Insurance. Very boring belive me." Zach snorts a laugh. "Well, it provided steady income didn't it? I bet your mom would prefer that to having a roaming vagabond for a man?" Sarah chuckles "Ok yeah, that and benifts are nice." She finishes off her drink and stretches, casualy showing off her body, as her breasts press against her shirt. Zach takes the opportunity to oggle. He smiles into his whiskey. "But it isn't good to just be a homebody either. I'm a great beliver in the need to widens one's horizons. I love travelling." Sarah nods "Oh yeah, traveling can be very fun and enriching. But it';s always nice to have some place to come back too you know." Zach shrugs. "Yeah, maybe... I dunno - never felt the need for it really. My truck is kinda my home." He grins. "But maybe when I'm old and frail like Duke, I'll have to reasess that." Sarah chuckles "Well that gives you plenty time now doesn't it." She picks up her glass and pops an icecube in her mouth, curling her tounge around it as she sucks slowly on it. Zach watches the icecube being sucked on. "Yeah! When you're young you'll live forever." Sarah finaly swollows the ice cube when it's small enough and smiles "Exactly." Then she reaches down and lightly stokes his legs "Leather looks good on you." Zach shifts his legs ever so slightly into the stroking hand. "Thanks, I like it. Don't wear it much, though. It's impractical in my job." He looks her over and smiles. "You don't excactly shame your outfit either." Sarah blushes a bit "You really think so?" She contimues to lightly stroke his leg "That's very kind of you." Zach he inclines his head at her. "Not at all, princess. I'm merely stating the obvious." Sarah blushes again but gives him a wicked grin nonetheless "Thanks," Her hand creeps up slightly higher on his leg as she says "So, have you seen your dad lately?" Zach shakes his head. "I've been meaning to visit his grave one of these days, just haven't gotten 'roud to it yet." He slips his hand down and lightly toutches her creeping hand. Sarah 's hand pauses and she looks saddly at him "I'm sorry, I didn't know he passed away." Zach squeezes har hand lightly and smiles at her with warm eyes. "No worries, dear. You couldn't possibly have known. It's more'n ten years ago. Had a heart atack on stage and died with his saxophone in his hands, bless him." Sarah smiles and squeezes the hand back "Well at least he died doing what he loved." You say, "Yup, that he did." Sarah nods "Always a good way to go. I hope that I do the same." Zach strokes Sarah's hand softly with his fingers. She can feel that they are quite hard, probably calloused.sp? He smiles and meets her eyes. "So what do you love doing then? Any particular passions?" Sarah smiles at the touch "Well I love dancing and meeting new people Zach shifts his legs a bit. "So... You'd want to pass away while dancing with a stranger? Sounds almost romantic!" There is no mockery in his smile. Sarah chuckles "Well maybe not a stanger, but there are worse ways to go." Zach continues to let his fingers gently move over Sarah's hand. "Ain't that the truth, sister! My greatest fear is to just waste away in a hospital with lots of pain and no dignity. Then I'd rather just get an anvil dropped on my head and be done with it!" He laughs. "But now I'm getting morbid. I'm sorry." Sarah waves a hand and chuckles "Don't worry about it.' She slightly stokes his hand back and smiles "Want to go dancing?" Zach straightens up and heaves his shoulders a bit. "Yeah, why not. You wanna dance to these tunes here, or do you know of another place?" Sarah looks around "Here's fine." She stands and smiles at him, holding out her hand Sarah says, "so shall we say that we dance the night away :)" Zach stands up and takes her hand and leads her to the dancefloor. Zach says, "Sounds good to me! :)" Zach is sitting at a table alone, nursing a glass of whiskey. Ada slinks in, looking around. Zach looks up and spots Ada. He lifts a hand in greeting and smiles to her. Ada grins and waves back, heading over to Zach's table. Ada says, "May I join you?" You say, "Sure, sweetheart! Sit right down. Want anything to drink?" Ada says, "Tonic, if you please." Ada smiles and pulls out a chair. Ada sits down next to Zach. Ada says, "How's your afternoon been, then? Did you get to hang out with Sarah?" Zach waves a waitress over and tells her which drinks are needed. He orders a new whiskey for himself. As the waitress leaves, he turns back to Ada and smiles. "Yes, I did. She just left, as a matter of fact. I'm surprised you didn't meet her outside." Ada smiles wryly. "You know Sarah - she can disappear in a crowd of two." Ada just looked at you. Zach chuckles. "Somehow I doubt it. She is not the most anonymus woman I've ever seen..." You say, "How was your afternoon then?" Ada says, "When she chooses to be." Ada leans back in her chair. Ada says, "The usual. Fight with clients, hammer out code, head over here for a drink or three. Yourself?" Zach smiles and relaxes back on his chair. "Oh, nice coupla hours here with Sarah. Even got to check out the dancefloor." He grins. "So what do you do? Something with computers?" Ada nods. "Web design, network tech, stuff like that. Occasionally I straighten wires around an office." Zach ahs. "Is it fun work?" He flashes a smile at the waitress as she deposits their drinks on the table. Ada nods. "Just like every other job on the planet - some days are great, some days are hell. Today was in the middle. But I got a couple new outfits - something I've been meaning to do for *ages* - so I'm not as unhappy as I could be. Zach smiles. "That's good. And by the way, you look stunning in that outfit. It turns heads!" Ada smiles warmly and removes her sunglasses, revealing startlingly bright blue eyes. "I'm glad you think so. I'm never really happy with the way I look..." Zach raises his eyebrows. "Why in the world not? You're gorgeous!" Ada blushes faintly. "Thank you for saying so." You say, "Not at all. It's the God's honest truth, honey. It's there for everybody and their mother to see." Ada says, "I'm not sure I'd want your mother seeing me in this outfit..." Ada grins. Ada says, "You look good in your purchases too, you know." Zach grins and chuckles. "You are too kind, my lady. And no, my mother would throw a fit if she met you. Bless her." Ada says, "What, because I look sexy in leather?" Ada arches her eyebrows and folds her arms over her chest. Zach laughs. "Because she is a firm beliver in 'proper' clothing. She'd not be pleased with my outfit either." Ada says, "Ah, one of those types. You have to respect traditionalism, even if you don't subscribe to it." Ada sips her tonic. "So tell me about yourself, Zach of the flame-red pants and finest ass in Kaycee." Zach sips his scotch. "Whatcha wanna know, oh fine one?" Ada says, "What do you do? Where did you come from? That sort of thing." Zach smiles. "Ah, the biography. Ok, I'll tell you mine and you tell me yours, deal?" Ada says, "I've heard that before." Ada winks lasciviously. "Sounds like a plan." Zach leans back and stretches out his long legs. "Well, I come from a small nowhere called Winner in South Dakota. I left as soon as I could drive away. I'm a mechanic by profession, and roam around the country fixing cars, bikes, et cetera. Ada nods and tries - very hard - to keep her eyes off those legs. Zach keeps eyecontact as mutch as he can without making things uncomfortable. His eyes are warm and twinkeling with good humour. "I even do plumbing on occation. When it is....needed." Ada lets one eyebrow rise high above the other. "Really, now?" Zach srins mischiveously. "Plumbing is a very delicate profession. Takes you into people's homes.." Ada says, "I should hope so." You say, "It can get quite interesting." Ada says, "I imagine." Ada winks. Zach grins. "So anyway, that's the short and not-so-saccharine version of my bio. You turn, oh Gorgeous One." Ada blushes. "I grew up in Baltimore, although my father's always overseas - Finland, mostly. I got most of my computer talent from him, and that's really what I'm good at - programming and web design and such. I moved out here on a tip, and haven't had the heart to leave yet." Ada winks. "Occasionally - well, okay, mostly - I do contract work. Which also requires going into people's homes and businesses. Spending a lot of time hidden underneath desks, you know..." Zach snickers, then laughs out loud. "I can see where that could lead to interestingness on a good day, yes." Ada grins. "Absolutely." Zach sombers a bit. "So, you saw rather little of your dad when you grew up then?" Ada nods. "I mean, he was always around, but... you know what I mean?" You say, "Yeah, I know. My dad was always travelling around. Hardly ever home. My papa really was a rollin' stone.." Ada nods. Ada rests her hand on Zach's shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear that." Zach turns his head and looks fondly down onto Ada's head. He owers his shoulder a fraction so she can get more comfortable, while managing a shrug at the same time. "It was just how it was. I didn't know any other reality. And I understand him - I mean I'm just the same." Ada nods soberly and sips at her tonic. "You haven't even touched your whiskey." Zach chuckles. "I have too! You were just to busy looking at my red leatherclad legs." He takes another sip of his drink. Ada blushes a little hotter. "I was not!" she protests, but her heart obviously isn't in it. Zach gently rubs his chin on top of her head. "You were too. Just like I was oggling your figure." Ada smiles wryly. You say, "Ain't no harm in looking. That's what the eyes are for!" Ada laughs a little. "I like you, Zach." Zach smiles down at Ada. "That's nice of you to say, Ada. I like what I've seen of you so far, too." Ada giggles. "Is that a request?" Zach chuckles in his soft, baritone voice. "It's more of a stated hope to get to know you better, hon." Ada grins. "I'd like to do the same to you." You say, "I plan to stick around in town for a while, so hopefully we should get the chance, eh?" Ada says, "I certainly hope so." Ada finishes her tonic. Ada says, "I'm getting a bit tired... would you do me the honor of escorting me back to my apartment?" Zach drinks the rest of his whiskey. "Why yes of course I will, my dear. I have my truck right outside." Zach digs out his wallet and leaves some money on the table for the drinks and tips. Ada smiles wryly. "I was hoping for a moonlit walk, but..."
