Sarah enters. Sarah has arrived. Sarah just looked at you. Sarah waves Sarah is tall for a woman at 5'10". Much of this height comes from her long shapely legs, which are, like the rest of her skin, a dusky brown -- the color of coffee with cream. She is slender but muscled giving proof that she works out. Her curly black hair just brushes her shoulders and frames a lovely oval face with warm brown eyes and lush red lips. Sarah is currently wearing tight black pants that cling to her legs and hips and show off her bellybutton. Above the waist she has a plain white shirt on, its scoop neck revealing the top of her breasts when she leans forward. Zach notices the newcommer and lightly oggles the legs over the rim of his beer. Sarah saunters in and looks around for a waitress. Once shows up eventuly and shows Sarah to a table near Zach. The watiress hands Sarah a menu and vanishes once again. Zach continues to look the beauty who just walked in, and drinks his beer. He looks around and than rises. Now that he is standing, one can see how tall he is. Sarah opens the menu and glances over it before looking around the half empty bar and grill. She easly spots Zach looking her away and flashes a smile at him." Zach he ambles over to Sarah's table and smiles. His green eyes glitter warmly. "Hello lady. Care for a drink?" Sarah grins at him "Are you always this forward? But I accept, well as long as you join me for one." Zach laughs softly. "Well, it's not every day that a classy lady like yourself walks in here. I figured I better be quick unless some other bloke should get your attention first." He sits down at the table and flags down a waitress. "What would you like to drink? I better not be somthing advanced, they only do the straight and simple stuff here." He winks. Sarah nods "Yeah I've been here once or twice. I'll have a beer, whatever;s on tap." Zach nods and asks the waitress to bring a beer for the lady. When she has left to fetch it, he turns back to Sarah and puts out his hand. "I'm Zach, by the way. Nice to meet you." Sarah gives the hand a squeeze with her own "Sarah Roberts and likewise" Zach has a firm, warm handshake. He then proceeds to take a sip of his beer. "So, to use the old and battered cliche and be done with it: What's a beautiful lady like you doing in a joint like this?" He grins teasingly, like he knows exactly how corny that phrase is and doesn't care one bit. Sarah's beer arives and she takes a swollow before asnwering. "I come here for dinner sometimes when I want something fairly quick. Not too often though, have to watch the figure." She casualy pats her flat belly and smiles slightly "You?" Zach admires the figure with a grin. "I like to hang here regularly. It's a nice place with good food, good beer and good people. Down to earth and no fancy words on the menu. And they don't have a dress code. 'sides, I haven't scoped out many other places yet." He leans back on his chair and relaxes. Sarah nods "Just moved here then? Where you from?" You say, "Heh. Born in Winner, South Dakota. In other words 'nowhere'.. You?" Sarah laughs "I moved here about a year ago from New York City. So in other words 'somwhere." She grins at him "Do you like it here so far?" Zach chuckles. "Seems like a good enough place to be. I'll probably stick around for a while." His accent is really hard to place, it seems to come from all over or something. Sarah smiles a bit "Traveled a lot have you? You're lucky, I've never gotten to travel a lot. Well I was in New Oreleans for a bit, but that was a while ago." Zach quirks a corner of his mouth. "Yeah, I travel a lot. I'm always curious to see what's around the next bend, and across the river as it were. Would you recomment New Orleans? I haven't been there yet." He pushes his beerglass around a bit. Sarah takes another sip of her beer and nods "Oh yeah, fun fun place, especialy during Marti Graw." Something has clearly ticked her memory and grins "You should go sometime." Zach ruffles his hair and grins back. "I've heard about that. Partying gets pretty wild there doesn't it?" Sarah nods "Yep. And belive me it doesn't get much better then being in the middle of it." She winks at him "A lot of very friendly guys if you know what I mean." Zach gets a whistful look on his face. "No shit.. Y'know, I have heard that the ladies tend to get quite generous as well. I sem to recall reading something about the mayor or som other bigwig complaining about women showing off their tits during Mardi Gras. He must be crazy!" He laughs again and mischief is dancing in his eyes. Sarah shakes her head, her eyes twinkling "Nope nope, she's not and I'm speaking from personal experince here, both as someone who saw the tit flashing and partispating in the flashing." She grins at him "Think I still have some of the beads I was given too." You say, "Beads? :)" Sarah nods "Oh yeah, they toss the women strings of beads for flashing then. They guys do that is." Sarah says, "or so I've heard, I've never actualy been to NO :)" Zach says, ""Ditto. :)" Zach laughs and takes another swig. "I'll have to remember that when I go there. And remember to check out when Mardi Gras is. It sounds like a great time and place to simply Be." Zach makes a show of looking Deep and Philosophical. Sarah nods "Oh it is belive me. Hey want anything to eat? I think I'm going to order a chicken salad." You say, "Boy, you really are seriou about that line-watching.. I just had a t-bone steak. But i think I may have room for some dessert. They do a wonderful Fried Alaska here." Zach flags down a waitress so they can order. Chicken salad for the lady, fried ice cream and a new beer for the bloke. You say, "Want a new beer as well?" Sarah nods "Sounds good." She smiles at Zach as he orders and passes her menu to the waitress "So what do you do around here Zach? Zach leans back on his chair again to await the sinful but oh so delicious dessert. He flashes a smile at Sarah. "I'm a mechanic. I fix things. Cars, bikes, machinery... Even do plumbing on occation." Sarah chuckles "Cool, I'm a shop owner, nothing too exciting." Zach lifts his eyebrows appreachivly. "Oh. What kind of shop do you own?" Sarah grins and streches one leather clad leg out "Leather good. You know jackets, pants, shirts, that sort of stuff." Zach now gets a big smile on his face. "Oh, I like! Actually I think I might have walked past you shop yesterday.. Where is it?" He lets his eyes linger a bit on The Leg. Sarah flexs her legs as she notices Zach looking at it and smiles slightly "It's called Crown leather, on the Crown Plaza Zach drags his eyes off The Legs and ponders a bit. "Hmm.. Yes, that's where I was loafing around. Did you sell leather goods in NY as well?" Sarah shakes her head "Nope, I opened the store when I moved here." Zach is about to say something when their waitress arrives with salad, ice cream and beer. He beams at the girl. "Thanks hon!" He then beams at the fries ice cream and grabs his spoon. "Oh Heaven, here I come... You know - if this dish had existed when Moses climbed that big piece of rock way back when, this," he points at the ice cream with his spoon, "would have been mentioned in the commandements in a very severe way." Sarah chuckles as she takes a bite of her salad "Can I have a bite, I don;t think that I've ever had Fried Alaska." Zach smiles warmly. "Of course you can. Just go ahead." Zach says, "Fried Alaska is fried vanilla ice cream. Crunchy crust on the outside, soft ice on the inside." Sarah takes her spoon and nabs a spoonfull, eating it. "Ummm, this is great. You're right." She closes her eyes in pleasure and sighs." Zach puts a spoonful in his own mouth and looks serenely happy. "And the caramel sauce just adds to the miracle that is Fried Alaska." Zach yumms contentedly. Sarah smiles "Care for a bite of my salad?" Zach looks suspiciosly at all the green stuff, but there is a small twinkle in his eyes. "I thank you for your kind offer ma'am, but I must consume my dessert with due respect. And that means no additional green stuff." He grins and another spoonful of ice cream disappears into his mouth. Sarah laughs and nods and goes back to eating her salad Zach asks Sarah in betweens spoonfuls: "So what makes a lady move from the Big Apple to the midwest?" Sarah shrugs "I had a friend who lived out here and I needed a change of pace." Zach nods. "Do you like it here then?" Sarah smiles "Yeah, I've made some new friends and stuff, it's pretty good. The summers are so muggy though. Zach smiles and finishes his ice cream. "Well, the summers in New York City aren't all that wonderful either. It gets awfully hot, humid and smoggy at times." He regretfully puts the now empty bowl aside. Sarah grins "Yeah that is true, it just seems worse somehow out here, no ocean you see. I mean there's the river but it's just not the same." Zach toys with his spoon and looks at Sarah. "Say, have you any places here in KC that you would recommend? You being a veteran here and all?" He grins teasingly again. Sarah looks at him though her eyelashes "Well, what do you like to do?" Zach bites his lip for a split second and then smiles. "Oh, well - I like live gigs of music. Like blues, jazz, bluegrass - anything traditional that hasn't gone all slick and commersialized really. Good saloons would be nice to know about, movie theatres that do classical movies likewise." Zach says, ""I'm gonna have to log off soon. It's nearly 5 am in Europe now..:)" Sarah grins "Well then, I have just the place for you. It's called the Club Bluebird. Really good old fashioned jazz Sarah nods You say, "Club Bluebird, eh? Well the name sounds promising, that's for sure." Sarah smiles "Fun place and good dancing." Zach smiles and stretches his legs a bit. "Might I bump into you there as well? You like to dance?" Sarah nods "I'm sure you would and I love dancing. How about you?" Zach chuckles. "Yeah, I like to dance. But I'm not much of an expert. An ex-girlfriend of mine said I had much more enthusiasm than skill on the dancefloor." Sarah shrugs "Hey thats ok, enthusiasm is what counts really. She grins slightly "On the dancefloor and...other places." Zach waggles his eyebrows. "Oho. I detect Wisdom." He chuckles again. "There is something to be said for skill, though. Both in dancing and other activities - it adds a certain edge to things." Sarah winks "Oh skill is very important. I like to think as myself as fairly skilled." She doesn't say if she means on the dancefloor or in other ways. Zach peeks at his watch. "Hmm... Dang. I'll have to go now, unfortunately. I have to see a man about a car. Three cars, in fact." He looks very sorry indeed to have to leave the pretty lady. "Skill or no skill. I won't get paid if I don't show up an fix things." *sigh* "I do hope I will see you again, Sarah. Perhaps we can compare skills on the dancefloor at Club Bluebird somtime...?" He twinkles at her. Sarah chuckles "Well it was nice chatting with you Zach. I'm sure I'll see on the dancefloor." She holds out her hand to him "Nice talking to you" Zach takes her hand and squeezes it. And then he turns it slightly and bow to kiss it very lightly. As he releases her hand he smiles flirtingly. "The pleasure was all mine, sweetheart." He deposits some money on the table for the waitress, then saunters out into KC. You step outside.
