Zach is slouching behind a newspaper on a bench. Ada is getting off the bus, making sure her hat doesn't blow away in the evening breeze. Ada is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with hair dyed all the colors of the rainbow that hangs to her shoulders, and blue eyes. She looks to be in her late teens or early twenties; her body is slender without being skinny, her curves understated, her fingers long and tapered. Her skin is pale, her lips a light pink, and her nose curves upward ever so slightly. She's dressed in traditionally men's clothing: a white button-up shirt with the cuffs rolled up to her elbows, smartly creased black Dockers, a pair of black suspenders to hold the slacks up, a black tie hanging to her navel, freshly-shined black patent leather shoes, and a fedora atop her color-striped hair. All of her clothing is slightly loose, even the hat - maybe a size too big. A silver watch is fitted snugly around her right wrist. Ada winks at Zach as she steps onto the sidewalk. "Hiding?" Zach starts and blinks, he seems to have been snoozing. "Uh? What? Oh!" He suddently grins. "Ada, honey! Hey, how are you?" Ada says, "I'm still alive. Yourself?" You say, "Oh, very much so! I got a couple of new contracts this week. They'll keep my brad buttered for a while. And how was your day, oh hatted one?" Ada says, "Glad to hear it!" Ada slumps on the bench next to Zach and pulls her hat over her eyes. "It's been a long day, Zach." Zach folds his paper and shifts his positure so that he is more or less facing her. "Wanna tell me about it? Over a meal, maybe?" Ada says, "Sure. Where do you like to eat?" Zach smiles to her. "What do you like to eat? I normally go with the unhealthy stuff. Ada grins. "I can take it." You say, "Allrighty then. I'll flag down a cab, unless you want to walk there?" Zach mentiones the name of the BBQ just across the river. Ada says, "Let's walk. It's a nice night, if a bit brisk. Lead the way, O Ye Of The Amazing Ass." Ada winks lasciviously. Zach rises and offers his hand to help the lady rise. "It will be my pleasure, my lady." :) B.J.'s Lawnside B-B-Q -- Parking Lot Not a traditional jazz hall or music venue of any kind, the Bar-B-Q's lot isn't packed to the gills but it is busy for an out of the way place. Flyers are tacked up everywhere for various acts on telephone posts. There's no security here, but there's a feeling just by the shape and condition of some of the cars here that some fairly large, mean people will come out and break your head if you even think about snagging a radio or a hood ornament. A dozen or fifteen outdoor tables line a combination of cracked concrete patio blocks and soil nearly bare save for some scraggly grass. These are around the side of the ramshackle roadhouse, so that a side door can be opened for the music to flow back and forth when a blues band takes the indoor stage. At all times, regardless of the presence of a band, the sweet smoky barbeque smell drifts from the shack. A raucous place, the temperature in here is hotter than it is outside, and even with the ventilation running, the firepits in the kitchen cause the smoke and humidity factor to shoot through the roof, such that the burly guys in stained aprons who stand behind the counter to take and fill orders are glazed in their own sweat, as if they themselves might be turned on a spit at any time. Despite this, they are remarkably friendly ... but then, if you got to spend your days serving some of the area's best BBQ to apprecative fans to the sounds of live or live-recorded blues music, you'd probably consider yourself to have a fairly decent job, too. The counter and semi-open kitchen and BBQ pits easily take up a third of the roadhouse; another third or so is the stage, occupied by old but still servicable electronics and the usual racks and floor stops for placing instruments. Four nights a week, live bands occupy this stage, and on a fifth, the electronics are supplemented by those from a local radio station for a blues-oriented radio show. Inside, the owners have opted for nothing more special than heavily-primed picnic tables. Pretty standard for a place they hose down at the end of the night. Usually occupied to at least 1/3 capacity, on nights with live bands this place is packed with locals and tourists alike. Zach waves to a waiter who hurries over to their table with menues. Ada reads a menu happily. Zach grabs a menue and glances over it. "See anything you like? On the menu, then is." Ada says, "What'll you have?" Zach grins mischiveously. Ada pouts. "You limit my options so," she whines, looking Zach up and down. Zach chuckes. "I don't limit them, hon. I just try to hint at which context I wanted an answer. You say, "I will go with the t-bone steak with the *ahem* 'Very Special Sauce'." Ada leans over. At your table, Ada says "So you want your bone sauced up, huh?" Ada blushes and laughs. "I'm sorry. I don't know what's come over me. I'm not usually this way." Zach's eyebrows rises and he laughs. "No worries, darlin'. I heard far worse then that. Besides, I *like* sauce!" Ada says, "I bet you do..." Ada orders a giant baked potato, a steak ("Char it. No blood at all."), and a glass of tonic water. Zach smiles innocently over the table, then turns and gives his order to the waiter. ("Very special t-bone and a tap beer") Then Zach's attention is once again focused on Ada. You say, "So, you were saying you had a rough day?" Ada says, "Yeah. Lot of people asking a lot of questions. I'll be surprised if I answered them all right." Zach nods sympathtically. "Clients of yours giving you a hard time?" Ada says, "Aye." Ada leans her head on Zach's shoulder. Zach puts his arm around her and pats her hand affectionately. "Well, that was then and this is now. Now the time of day has come to relax and enjoy." He gives her shoulders a little squeeze. Ada purrs softly and scoots closer. You say, "So tell me Ada, what do you like to do on your time off from the grind?" Ada sighs. "Did I tell you I have a girlfriend?" Zach blinks. "Eh??" Ada says, "She wants me to date other people. I didn't think I wanted to, you know?" Ada says, "But..." Ada slides closer. Zach looks curiously down on Ada. "Why does she want you to do that?" He doesn't remove his arm from around her shoulders. Ada says, "She's away for a lot of the summer, and she doesn't want me to be unhappy." Zach quirks an eyebrow. "Now that's an interesting way of putting it. Do you two love each other or is it more of a 'fucking good friends' kind of thing?" Ada says, "I love her like I love no one else, Zach..." Zach strokes Ada's hand. "And does she fell as deeply?" He doesn't sound sceptical or snide in any way, just curious and mild. Ada shivers lightly. "I think so. She tells me so." Zachs quirking eyebrow rises once again. He inclines his head a bit. "You're not sure?" Ada says, "I trust her implicitly... but I'm not inside her head." Their waiter returns to their table with just about a metric ton of food and drink which get deposited on front of them. Zach nods and then looks up to thank the waiter. When they are left to themselves once again, Zach reluctantly gets his arm back from around Ada's shoulders to start tucking in. The 'Very Special Sauce' look mean and evil. Ada starts in on her potato. "I don't have any reason to doubt her." Zach gives her a small smile. "I know what you mean. Even when you trust someone completely, it doesn't rend you immune from those small, scary thoughts that tend to come around sometimes. Those little doubts that sneak in when you feel vulnerable." Ada nods. Ada says, "Especially when..." Ada shakes her head and takes a big drink of tonic. Zach lets his fork hover over the meat. "When..?" He looks slightly concerned. Ada mutters something under her breath and blushes bright pink. You say, "Pardon..?" Zach takes her hand and squeezes reassuringly. Ada squeezes back. "When I meet someone like you." Zach looks puzzeled. His brain is clearly trying to sort through the obscure woman-talk and failing. "Er... Um. So meeting me makes you doubt your girlfriend's feelings? Or am I utterly lost here?" He bites his lip a little. Ada says, "No, no... It's just..." Ada smiles wryly. "Don't worry about it." Zach looks dejected. "Oh man... I messed up a little, didn't I? Can't you at least point me in the right direction? It's just what?" Ada says, "No, no." Ada says, "You didn't mess up at all." Ada says, "When I meet someone like you... I start doubting that she might be wrong about seeing other people." Zach relaxes visibly. "Ooohhh... I see." He chuckles and spears his steak with his fork and starts cutting it. "Damn, girl! You had me worried there!" Ada says, "Sorry, hon." Ada starts cutting into her steak, which is well and truly burnt. Zach grins and mops up some extra sauce with his piece of meat. "I'm just a simple guy. I get easily confused by women. I try to make up for it with good behaviour." He winks and then focuses on his meal. Ada says, "There's more good about you than your behavior." You say, "Why thank you, beautiful!" Ada smiles and leans in, kissing Zach's cheek. You say, "You are really a sweet, sweet girl, you know that?"" Zach smiles a warm, fond smile. Ada purrs softly and smiles. "Why do you say that?" You say, "'Cause I think you are sweet." Ada says, "I'm glad you think so." Zach's eyes twinkle merrily. "Y'know... Ya still haven't told me what you like to do on yer time off from the grind?" Ada says, "Watch movies, write programs, take long, moonlit walks through the city. Sometimes one of the tenants in the neighborhood where I live grinds her own cinnamon, and the whole place smells sweet and spicy for hours afterward." Zach mmms. "Sounds good." Ada finishes off the steak. "How about you? Aside from good food and leather clothing..." Zach chuckles softly. "Well... I like quite a number of things, actually. Depends on the mood and stuff. I love working with machinery. Being a mechanic is for me just as much a hobby as it is my bread and butter." Ada smiles. "You sound like my father." Zach hehs. "I hope I take more notice of my surroundings than him. At least from what you told me." He grins. Ada's smile grows wry. "I think so." You say, "Anyway, when I'm not fondling machinery I like to hang out in clubs and places like this. I love live music and beind around people." Ada grins. "Is that all you fondle?" Zach grins hugely. "No, it isn't. If allowed I will occationally fondle other....things." Ada raises an eyebrow. "Like what?" Zach smiles teasingly. "Like...girlfriends" Ada laughs softly. Ada says, "Well?" You say, "Well nothing. Sometimes I'm allowed to fondle and sometimes I get yelled at and kicked out. I try to ensure that it's mostly the former." Ada kisses Zach's cheek. "I..." You say, "Hmmm?" Ada whispers "I wouldn't yell." Zach smiles softly and kisses the corner of her mouth gently. "See? Sweet. Just like I said." Hachilah enters from the lot. Ada looks up and smiles brilliantly. "Hachilah!" At your table, Zach smiles and straightens up. He strokes Ada's chin with a finger. Ada and Zach are at Table 1. At your table, Ada purrs softly. "That's my girlfriend," she murmurs, winking. Zach is smiling and gently stroaking Ada's face. You say, "Eh?" Zach looks where Ada is gesturing. Hachilah is a small teenaged girl, about 15 or 16. She stands at ~5'3". Wide blue eyes peer out from pale skin, contrasted by a tiny strawberry mouth. Hachilah's hair is arranged in an explosion of medium-length bleached dreads. She has a kind of sleepy romantic look, perhaps because of the way her eyes turn down at the outer edges. She smells of Irish Spring soap and, in general, looks very clean. She seems young. Hachilah stands out in a lime-green football jersey with white arms and lettering. The name on the back says 'Singer', and the number underneath is 15. The front reads 'Sunshine Grove Retirement League', and there's a big picture of an orange emblazoned over her belly. She completes the look with a pair of baggy jean shorts, cut-off at the knees. A pair of sports sandals protect her feet, and reveal her toenails, which are painted a vivid orange. Today, she sees the world through a pair of pink-tinted shades. Hachilah begins to smile, and quite widely at that, but for some reason she pauses and instead, raises a delicate eyebrow. Ada waves Hachilah over. Ada says, "Hach, have you met Zach?" Zach looks at the newcommer and drops his fork. He looks absolutely thunderstruck. Ada says, "Er... Zach?" Hachilah seems to recover and wanders over, looking a little confused. "Nope. I haven't yet met your friend Zach... though you did mention him." Zach'jaw drops and he just stares at Hachillah. Hachilah smiles and offers a hand in greeting. Ada blinks. Ada says, "I have to confess that this is rather unexpected." Hachilah appears confused by Zach's reaction and blinks somewhat. Zach manages to gather his wits enought to close his mouth. His hands tremble ever so slightly and his eyes continue to take in Hachillah. Hachilah retracts her hand and looks at Zach, perplexed. "Is there.. some problem with your friend, Ada?" She looks at Ada for confirmation. You say, "Oh my dear, sweet God..." Ada backs away a little bit. Zach rises and streches out a hand to *almost* touch Hachillah. "You... How..?" Ada says, "Do you know each other?" Hachilah's expression grows contemplative as she examines Zach intensely. She blinks and looks at Zach's hand. "I don't... think so..." She seems to be looking right through Zach, she is examining him so thoroughly. Zach withdraws his hand with pure force of will. He looks seriously rattled and licks his lips before he tries to speak. Hachilah raises her eyebrow again. This is all very curious. Ada blinks more. You say, "Ahm... I... I'm sorry. It's.." Hachilah nods in a sort of go-ahead motion. Zach shakes his head with a haunted look in his eyes. "You look so much like someone I knew once. I'm sorry." Zach straightens up and breathes deeply. Hachilah gets a kind of an empathetic look in her eyes, and she reflexively puts her hand on Zach's arm. "I'm... very sorry to have caused you... distress?" Ada starts over. Ada says, "Zach, this is Hachilah, my angel on Earth and one true love. Hach, this is Zach, a mechanic with the single finest ass in all of Kansas City and a tendency to look really, really, amazingly good in red leather." Zach puts his hand out to shake. "It's nice to meet you, Hachillah. I mean it." Hachilah raises her eyebrow at Ada, the grins and looks back at Zach. She shakes his hand, her eyes twinkling mischieviously as she tilts her head gracefully around to examine his would-be exceptional booty. Her other eyebrow goes up, perhaps an expression of admiration. "Well, Ada has never lied to me, and it appears that she continues to tell the truth. It is nice to meet you, also." Zach seems to be regaing some of his composure, but his bravado has been subdued. "Won't you please join us?" He drags out a chair for her. Hachilah nods happily, and sits down with a kind of elegant exuberance. She looks to Ada and smiles. Ada smiles back and offers Hachilah some tonic water. "They have other things here, possibly things more your style, but this is all I have..." Zach sita down again and picks up the fork he dropped. He wipes the sauce off it. Zach looks over to Hachillah. "You want anything to eat or drink?" Hachilah eyes the water as she scoots her chair closer to Ada's, then looks over to the kitchen. She looks at Zach for a moment before responding. "I suppose that... a cup of coffee would suit me." She smiles. Zach gets the attention of a waiter and has him bring over a cup of coffe to the young lady. Ada giggles quietly. Ada says, "In any event, I had just bought my outfits at Sarah's shop when Zach came in and decided to demonstrate exactly how good he looked in tight red leather. We met at Club Bluebird later and he walked me home." Ada says, "Zach, Hachilah and I met here, I believe... during a misunderstanding between herself and a professor at the university." Zach looks at Ada. "Oh? Tell me more." HE grins. Hachilah looks from Ada, to Zach, then to Ada again. At the mention of the professor, she kind of half-scowls. "An odious man. He has yet to demonstrate a redeeming quality." Ada says, "About how you looked in leather, or how Hachilah and I met?" Ada runs her fingers idly through Hachilah's hair. "I offered her a place to stay the night. She kept coming back, and I never objected." Zach snorts out a laugh. "How you two met. You have repeatedly reminded me of how I look in leather. I'm not *that* dense!" Ada leans over conspiratorially to Zach. Zach quirks his eyebrow at Ada. Ada mutters to Zach, "She... bed had..." Ada whispers "She finally figured out that the bed had uses that involved *sleeping*..." Hachilah watches the exchange with a rapidly rising eyebrow. Zach chuckles, but glances briefly towards Hachillah with a strage look in his eyes. He hides it again, though. Zach smiles to Hachillah. "So how did you end up in a misunerstanding with a university professor?" Ada smiles wryly and leans closer. Ada whispers "You seem out of sorts. Should we go?" Hachilah looks from Zach to Ada, then back at Zach. Her expression darkens again, and she starts to respond, but stops to watch the leaning Ada. Zach glances back at Ada, smiles and gently shakes his head. "I'm ok, dont't worry." Zach focuses his green eyes on Hachillah. He smiles encouragingly. Hachilah observes Zach placidly for a moment, then seems to remember the topic at hand. Ah yes. The Professor. She scowls delicately, and starts to explain herself. "It's a long story, actually. And... it wasn't a misunderstanding. He was _lying_... and being quite irritating actually." She sighs and looks at Ada, then back at Zach. "I had a bucket. It was a yellow bucket. I used it as a drum, and, as I was living outside, it had all of my Earthly posessions within. The professor...", her eyes glisten at this point. "He tossed it into a garbage can." Hachilah sags a bit. Ada strokes Hachilah's hair. Hachilah leans into Ada. Ada says, "People are assholes sometimes." Ada says, "We got her a new drum, though." Zach blinks at Hachillah's story. "Did he know it was your bucket? I mean, he didn't do that on *purpose*?" Zach nods to Ada. "Oh, good!" Hachilah seems to puzzle over Ada's colourful metaphor, but she looks up to respond to Zach. "He well knew that it was my bucket. It was a fit of malice, really. I would never have known what happened, if there hadn't been a witness." You say, "That was a really shitty thing to do! Honestly! Who'd be such a complete dick as to do something like that?! Man!" Zach scowls. "Did you get him back good?" Hachilah's eyebrows knit together. "Vengeance? Certainly not." She gives Zach a questioning look, then sighs. "I directed him to a psychologist, actually." Hachilah just looked at you. Hachilah pages: Yipes, you're a cutie. ;) Ada kisses Hachilah's cheek. Zach hmphs. "Sound like he needs more than a braindoctor." He drinks some more beer. Zach studies the two ladies with a small smile. "So, you two became lovers after that 'incident'?" Ada smiles wryly. "Yes." Hachilah is startled slightly out of her scowl by the kiss. She leans further in Ada's direction. She blinks a bit. She gives Ada a perplexed look. "I'm calm. Do you want me to leave?" Hachilah says, "Why would you want me to leave?" Ada shakes her head. "No, love. But I know you have things to do that don't involve me, and I don't want to keep you." You paged Hachilah with 'I will be resonating you. I'll go for touch to rise CD, and if I make my roll I'll ask you things. Ok? :)'. Hachilah blinks and seems to accept that. She looks at Zach. "Ada has provided shelter and solace, since then, yes." Hachilah pages: Sure :) Hachilah pages: +roll Hachilah pages: ? :) Zach stretches out his hand and squeezes Hachilah's for a moment. "Ada is such a sweet girl. I'm glad you found each other." AutoJudge: Zach rolls: 4 + 6 = 10 . Check die: 1 Hachilah pages: Nasty. You paged Hachilah with 'Nope..:('. From afar, Hachilah :( Hachilah pages: There will be opportunity in the future. Zach withdraws his hand. The haunted look in his eyes rekindle for a moment. You paged Hachilah with 'Yep, and I will keep trying in this case. It would be severely OOC for me not to:)'. From afar, Hachilah nods :) Hachilah nods at Zach, though she seems perplexed. She turns around and hugs Ada. Ada hugs Hachilah back tightly. Hachilah mutters to Ada, "... will... a few days, this time." Zach shrugs back into his more normal Zachness. "You gotta go already, Hachilah?" he asks after the hug is over. Sarah has arrived. Hachilah looks at Ada. "I was just wandering through, Zach. It was nice to meet you" She turns around to go. Sarah steps into the BBQ and glances around. Zach smiles to Hachilah. "Hey.. Take care now, y'hear?" Hachilah scrunches her nose slightly, but smiles eventually, seduced by Zach's carefree attitude. Or perhaps it's his hot ass? Find out next time! Hachilah waves over her shoulder and makes her way to the door. Ada waves and smiles. Zach notices Sarah and smiles to her. Ada waves too to Sarah. "Hi there!" Hachilah steps outside. At your table, Zach says "Well... That was interesting. Wow.." Sarah looks towards where's she being hailed and waves back "Ada, Zach, how are you." She joins them at the table, settling next to Zach. You say, "Hey Sarah! How are you today?" Sarah flashes Zach a smile "Doing a lot better now." Ada says, "You look good tonight. But did you have a bad day?" Sarah shakes her head "Nope, it was ok day, kinda slow. Zach leans back on his chair. His meal is only half eaten, but he seems to have forgotten it completely. No wonder, really. He *is* sitting between two beautiful women. Ada leans her head onto Zach's shoulder. Sarah eyes flicker slightly at that, but she smiles at Ada "How was your day?" Zach casts one last look towards the door, then shifts his shoulder so it's more comfy to lean on. Ada says, "Long. Tiring." You paged Fidelity with 'How many male characters are there on B&S? And how many of them are active? I'm DROWNING in wimmin'!! (Not that I mind, but knowing wimmin' this could get ugly at some point:)'. Sarah nods "What are you working on lately?" Her voice is plesent but there is a tinge of something else. Ada says, "Web design. You know, odds and ends." From afar, Fidelity laughs. "I know. We're inundated with you dames!" Ada says, "Ran into Zach at the bus stop and we decided to go out to eat." Sarah nods "Yeah, I saw Hachilah just take off. How's she doing? Ada says, "She's well. In and out all the time." Zach smiles fondly at Sarah. "You wanna grab a meal to, hon?" Sarah smiles at Zach "Naah, I'm fine. I stoped by to catch the music." You say, "Hachilah... That's kind of an unusual name, ain't it?" Ada nods. Ada says, "It is. I never asked about it. She doesn't like to talk about her parents." Sarah looks curious "Does she not get along with them? You say, "She a runaway or somethin' then?"" Ada shrugs. "Like I said, I don't know. Might be." Zach turns his head to Sarah. "Do you know her too?" Sarah nods "I do, I met her a while go while she was living on the streets. You say, "Is she from KC? Any of you know?" Sarah looks at Ada and shrugs "Not me, sorry." Ada says, "Couldn't say. She implied that she's not." Zach mutters something under his breath. "..weird.." Ada slides her arm around Zach. "It's her prerogative to be secretive, hon." Sarah nods "I suppose so, but I don't like to pry Ada yawns and stretches. Zach sighs and nods reluctantly. "Yeah.. It's her right to keep personal stuff personal. But still..." He nudges the top of Ada's head gently with his jaw. Ada says, "Unless you guys have anything you want to do to *cough* with me..." Zach says, "Ok, gotta go to work in 30 min. myself:)" Sarah eyes look coldly at Ada as she slides her arm around Zach and she murrmers "Really Ada, I thought you were happy with Hachilah." Zach eyes Ada. Ada says, "Hachilah told me flat out to date other people." Ada sighs. Sarah blinks "Really? Why?" Ada shrugs. "She's going to be away a lot of the summer, and she .. didn't want me to be lonely," she says, obviously reciting. Zach looks concerned at the tone in Sarah's voice. Ada frowns and stands up, settling her hat back on her head. Ada says, "If you'd prefer I leave the two of *you* alone, though, I'm more than happy to oblige." Sarah raises an eyebrow "If you wish, then by all means.." Ada says, "i was going to ask Zach to walk me home." Ada looks at Zach, then at Sarah. Ada says, "Far be it from me to interrupt, though." Zach puts a hand on each of the ladies' arms. "Hey, now. Relax. We're all friends here, right?" Ada stands and leaves Table 1 Ada says, "Sorry, Zach... like I said, I'd wanted an escort home, but it looks like fate has other plans." Sarah nods at Zach and looks up at Ada murrmering "More fish in the sea dear." Zach sighs. "Are you ok, Ada? And I couldn't care less about fate!" Traci enters from the lot. Ada shakes her head. Traci just looked at you. You say, "Look, I'll take you home. You look upset."" Ada says, "Heaven forfend anyone should stop being judgmental for a split second around this city." Ada says, "Don't worry about it. I'm sure Sarah's more than happy to talk to you." Sarah glances at Zach and nods "Ok, I'll be here when you get back. Ada says, "And I can find my own way home." Traci perks up as she hears Ada's voice.. and Sarah's name.. Ada says, "Good night." You stand and leave Table 1. Traci waves to Ada, Sarah, and Zach Ada nods to Traci as she walks out. "Good night to you as well." Ada steps outside. Zach follows Ada out. You say, "Hey, wait up!" Zach comes after Ada looking worried. "Seriously, Ada. I really want to walk you home." He reaches out a hand to her. Ada is already walking north toward the main city. "Don't, Zach. She obviously needs you more than I do." Zach is stubborn. "I can talk to her *later*. Please..." Ada turns around. Ada is obviously on the verge of tears. Ada says, "I just..." Ada says, "I'm sick of being judged." Ada sniffs. Zach scopes Ada into his arms and hugs her tightly. Ada says, "Just want to be happy." Ada hugs back miserably. Zach holds her tight and mumbles into her hair. "That's what we all want, babe. And that's what we all should be. She was jealous, pay it no heed." Ada looks up. "Will you come with me tonight?" Ada whispers "Hachilah was right... I miss her and I love her... but I'm so lonely..." Zach keeps his arms around her. "I'll come with you. And I'll even stay if you want me to." Ada nods. Ada takes Zach's hand and starts tugging him along. You paged Ada with 'Here comes the resonating thingy... I have to now. Sorry..'. AutoJudge: Zach rolls: 2 + 4 = 6 . Check die: 6 Ada pages: 'sokay. Ada pages: Did you get it? Long distance to Ada: Zach splutters! That's a CD 6. Tell me about your honour and virtue... Zach gets tugged. Zach puts his arm around Ada's shoulders and squeezes her tightly to keep her comfy and safe. Ada pages: Ada is typically more honorable than not. She's following her lover's wishes, she makes certain she adheres to business deals, and she never lies when she can help it. On the other hand, she's taking you home with her, she didn't tell you about Hachilah until she'd already decided she wanted you, and she hasn't been able to complete a project that she promised a month ago. Her highest potential is to take part in a hacker revolution; her lowest depth is to maliciously write a program to crash Wall Street. Ada walks up the stairs. Ada says, "It's this one..." Ada heads into Apartment 3. Ada steps in as the door closes behind her with a quiet whirr. 14 Terrace St. - Apartment 3 This would be a spacious apartment were it not so cluttered. The kitchen takes up as little space as possible, in its walled-off corner by the door, and the rest of the room seems to be devoted to electronic equipment and places to sit. At the far side, against the wall and next to the sliding door to the patio, is a battered couch, and next to it is an overstuffed chair that can only be described as "classic". From the television to the near wall are many computers in various states of togetherness, on as many desks but with only one rolling chair to go between them. On the near wall is a truly massive bookshelf, filled with books ranging from _Java In A Nutshell_ through _The Prince_ to _Advanced Squad Leader_, and videos spanning all genres. The walls are decorated with posters, wallscrolls (Ada is apparently an anime buff), and hundreds of pages of code, printed on linefeed paper. Ada pulls Zach in and hugs him tight. Ada whispers "Thank you..." Zach hugs her back. "It's okay, Ada. It's okay. You shouldn't be lonely." Ada looks up at Zach, her hat falling off her head. Ada smiles wanly. Ada says, "Will you...?" Ada blushes faintly. "I won't yell. Or throw you out." Zach gently strokes her hair. "I'll fondle. I'll listen. But that's all... I want you to be *sure* about what you want and if you can handle it." Ada nods. "I think I am... but I think you're right." Ada steps back, though, and starts unbuttoning her shirt. Zach kisses her forehead. "I've seen too many people jumping head-first into stuff like this and then get messed up because they couldn't handle it." Ada nods again, undoing her cuffs and shrugging her shirt and tie to the floor. You say, "Lemme help you with that tie." You say, "Oh, too late." Ada unhooks the suspenders from around her shoulders. "You can get the pants, if you want..." Ada starts kicking her shoes off. Zach smiles and kneels down to start undoing her trousers. Ada closes her eyes and lets Zach work. Zach works very gently, but expertly. He pulls her trousers down slowly and gets them off her. Then he kisses her left knee and rises to lift her and carry her to her bed. Ada says, "A true gentleman, you are." You say, "Are you up for some hard-core cuddling of the cuddliest kind, then?" Zach grins and sneaks a kiss down on her neck. Ada giggles quietly. "I've got an advantage on you, though," she says, flicking his jeans unbuttoned. Ada purrs quietly at the kiss. Zach chuckles. "Yes you do. I don't mind though." He ticles her navel. "But neather do I mind that you are willing to relent that advantage." Zach starts to pull his t-shirt up over his head. Zach says, "Yep, time to go, typos are running rampant...:)" Ada laughs softly. "I so am," she murmurs, and works his jeans unfastened, inching his clothing down his body. Ada giggles. Ada knows that feeling. ;) Zach wiggles out of his jeans. He is Not Wearing Undies... Ada pulls Zach down into bed next to her, pressing up against him and wrapping her upper leg around his. Ada says, "Good to have someone to cuddle with..." Ada was, by the way, not wearing anything underneath her suit either. To wrap up, things get very cuddly. Zach is as good as his word, and holds back. He is warm and gentle, with tendensies to tickle from time to time. And he *cares*. That much is obvious. No intercourse, no more sex that the aforementioned fondling. His first priority is to make Ada comfy and happy. Lastingly happy. Which means that she has to figure out stuff first. Ada doesn't press the issue, and is happy to get comfy with Zach, and comfortable letting him help her get happy. Ada says, "And fade to black. :)" Ada hugs! You paged Ada with 'I am really trying very hard to avoid Zach's team song being 'Fast Love'..:)'. From afar, Ada giggles. The End.
