Styles Logo

Street Fighter is all about styles. This style versus that style, I'm a practitioner of the arcane style, and so on and so forth. Doesn't matter in the long run, of course, only that some styles are better than others for some things and suck at others. I've tried to make styles that are balanced and playable - and most importantly, that does not already exist in Street Fighter.

After all, we don't really need hundreds of slightly differing writeups of Rabid Monkey Kung Fu, Goosebumps Silat and so on. I will only make - and include in my games - a style that is there for a reason. Same goes for maneuvers. If a kick in my game works just like a Tiger Knee, then that maneuver is a Tiger Knee, even though it may look different.

Oh, and just for kicks I've included some info I've collected on the various real world martial arts styles, as 'relevant info'. I get quite a few hits on my page on those pages alone, I'll tell you that :).

Perhaps the main resource on this page is the comprehensive list of tables for the various styles for Street Fighter. Note that the information that is found on the links in the part denoted 'Real World info' is correct, as far as I know. Some of the martial arts listed there does not exist, such as Ler Drit. Okay?

Special Maneuvers listed in light green are Special Maneuvers developed by me. They can be found through the 'Special Maneuvers' link on the left.

Astute souls will find that the weapon arts are very little developed. I'm mainly adding to the weapons maneuvers when I have to create new maneuvers - I don't run a Duelist campaign, so I don't anticipate a lot of weapons maneuvers. However, there are at least a few in the Special Maneuvers section.
