Rice Guvetch

Serves 4, Takes 40 min

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Golden the onions in the oil in a frying pan, add the rice and the peppers. Once all the ingredients are golden, add salt, pepper and paprika
  3. Place the tomato slices at the bottom of a baking dish and then add the rice, another layer of tomato slices to cover the rice completely.
  4. Add some oil and a half a glass of water. Put in the oven for about 15 min.
  5. Beat the eggs with the yogurt and spread on the rice mix. Put back in the oven (on broil this time) until a golden crust is formed (5-10 min).

Comments:

I suggest you serve this recipe as the main meal as it is somewhat filing.
