Charyot sogi

English:
Attention stance
Description:
Feets forming 45° angle - heels together. Arms heldt down along the side. Albows bent sligthly. Hands forming fists. WD: 50%/50%
Bowing procedure:
Face opponent/instructor - focus on his/her eyes. Bend your upper body 15° forward.

Narani sogi.

English:
Parellel stance
Description:
Paralell feets - one sw apart measured outside/outside. WD: 50%/50%
Facing:
Full or side.

Narani jumbi sogi.

English:
Parallel ready-stance
Description:
Feets - same as Narani sogi. Hands forming fists. Fists 5 cm apart and 7 cm out from the belly. The angle between arms and body is 30°, albows bent 40°.

Annun sogi.

English:
Sitting stance
Description:
Paralell feets 1.5 sw apart measured innside/innside. Press your knees apart - vertical line between knee and toe. Do not bend your upper body forward. WD: 50%/50%
Facing:
Full or side.

Annun jumbi sogi.

English:
Sitting ready-stance
Description:
Same sa Annun sogi, except for the arms that are held so that the distance between arm and thigh are 30 cm. Albows bent aprox. 30°.

Gunnun sogi.

English:
Walking stance
Description:
Feets: 1.5 sw between front foot and back foot, measured toe/toe and 1 sw measured center/center. Front foot pointing straight forward while the back foot is pointing 25° outwards. Straight upperbody. Do not bend the knee on your back leg. Knee on the front leg is directly abowe the heel of the front foot. WD: 50%/50%
Facing:
Full or half.
 

Gunnun jumbi sogi.

English:
Walking ready-stance
Description:
Same as gunnun sogi, except arms that are held exactly as in annun jumbi sogi.
