Warfare
"Read over and over again the campaigns of Alexander, Hannibal, Caesar, Gustavus, Turenne, Eugene and Frederic. ... This is the only way to become a great general and master the secrets of the art of war. ..."
Napoleon Bonaparte
Introduction

I've been fascinated by military technology and warfare since the early 80's. At first my interest was mostly limited to weapons technology and hardware. After the cold war ended I started reading books about strategy and military history. This had to do with a need to better understand the human element in war, and the fundamentals and principles of warfare. I also felt that by studying warfare, I'd also learn a bit about history in general.
