Short-cuts
It is possible to use combinations of keys in many of the triton pages to allow faster operation.
Most pages (where this makes sense)
[enter] + [key] to select a key. Very usefull for drumkit editing, selecting key ranges for sequencer editing, program key-tracking etc
[enter] + [keypad 0-9] choose among the first 10 parameters avail. in the dropdown menus
[menu] + [keypad 0-9] jump directly to a page
[enter] + [combi]/[prog]/[seq] etc to jump directly to the page used there last time
[enter] + [locate] to set a locator point
I believe this list isnt complete, so please notify me of new ones.
Easter eggs
The Triton allows several combinations of keys to be pressed at power-up to access special functions.
[Menu] + [1]: changes boot screen to "Triton Pro"
[Menu] + [2]: changes boot screen to "Triton ProX"
[Menu] + [3]: changes boot screen to "Triton"
[Menu] + [9] for 15 secs: initialize memory
Note: changing the boot screen also changes the key-scanning system. This can cause keys to stop functioning or transposition to be incorrect. Please dont do this unless you have a good reason (like replacing a defect triton m/b with a pro-x one)
[Enter] + [0] resets all progs and combies
[Enter] + [2] lets you select 61/76/88 keyboard and enters a self-test page. Here, you can test almost every part of your triton.
[ Enter] + [3] for self check
[Enter] + [9] gives extra info on the display, such as OS core version and release date.
[Enter] + [locate] lets you insert a OS diskette ( [enter] + [write] for rack)
